Please tell me what I have done wrong

Well for one, not being very specific.

So you're asking about the code for embedding videos?

Yes

?

What? You posted a URL and it's not doing what you want. You have to use HTML. If you don't know how that works then go where it actually tells you how to use HTML when you are editting a post.

They are not going to do that for you. Technically we really shouldn't be having YouTube videos on our posts anyway. You have to copy the embed code from the YouTube page, not the URL. Go to share on the page and embed. Play around from there.

Gotta go I'll see what the admins will do.

Try this:

<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EzIRfn-lhac?hl=pl_PL&version=3&rel=0&autoplay=0&loop=1";; type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="500" height="375" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"hidden="false"></embed>

But be warned, the admins don't like when people post videos that don't relate to the MOC in some way.

Why does everyone just give the text to those who don't know how to even get it. That's like giving a kid the answers to their math homework without actually showing them the math. He's not going to learn if you just give him the HTML.

As a mod I really shouldn't comment, but as a guy who "has had to work it out for himself" I get what you mean. The answers ARE given in the help section if people bother to look.

And remember, MOCpages is for showcasing your LEGO creations -- only. Pages that have videos of other things will be entirely deleted. (And your account could be deleted too!)

Youtube is a definite grey area. Strictly speaking it's against the rules, but like several rules it isn't enforced as rigorously as it might be.
It's generally okay as long as it's not inappropriate and people can find it to turn it off if it autoplays.

Actually, you probably shouldn't autoplay it at all, but I think anyone who can figure out how is probably going to have decent tastes in music, so it shouldn't be a huge issue.

TL;DR, it's not necessarily supported, and while it hasn't happened yet, it's entirely possible there'll be an update someday- maybe here, maybe on youtube -that'll stop embedding from working at all.

If you embed something that gets people to complain, that possibility will get a lot more likely.

?

You shouldn't ask open-ended questions like that; there's too many possible answers.

Because it's 'nice' and because if you don't they'll want you to share some cheese to go with their whine as well as HTML.

I was under the impression it was more 'pages that are FOCUSED ON videos of other things will be deleted'.
