After uploading my last creation, my email notifications ceased to be sent. This is somewhat of a pain because I do get quite a few comments on my MOCs and unless I manually check all of my pages, I won't be able to respond to the comments reliably.

I sent Sean a quick email about this one as I'm not very tech savvy. I don't know if this is a server issue or not, although since it appears to be an isolated problem and not site-wide, it's going to be something involving your own system. Hopefully we'll have an answer for you shortly.

Hello. My tablet which I ypload all my creations on has recently stopped notifying me when I get a comment or when I add a creation. I have tried everything including checking my email settings and turning my tablet off but nohing is working. Please can you help and tell me what is happening.

Sean was good enough to get back with me fairly quickly today. I was a bit surprised to hear that this issue could be a variety of things. Under the circumstances, I think I'll paste his response, for the sake of clarity...

From Sean:

"The reason could be chalked up to one of many things: 1) an actual mail server problem (unlikely but always possible), 2) they changed their account notification settings, perhaps without their knowledge 3) account notification settings changed due to a bug (again, unlikely) 4) no activity that would otherwise cause a message to be sent to them 5) mail being sent to him/her but getting blocked or junked along the way.

In the case of 2 or 3, the user should go to their notification settings and verify their settings are as they'd like. In the case of 4, try writing a test comment or similar. In the case of 5, check their junk mail, although many big mail servers like att.net and sbcglobal block all our mail for no reason."

Let's start with these possibilities, and I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how things unfold.
