1. Make your banner
2. Upload it to one of your MOCs (but don't 'save')
3. Copy the HTML for your banner image
4. Paste the HTML for your banner image into your Group

Considerations:
You saw this on i brick, maybe ask the question there rather than starting a new thread here (without a proper title).

You can ask permission to that person or organization to use it, but it'd be nicer if you'd use a picture of an own LEGO fire truck!

Ask me what? How to make a banner? If so, here's some help:

1.Do you have a Flickr or Brickshelf account? If not, make one.

2.Upload the picture on one of these sites and use the HTML (for Flickr), or the URL (for Brickshelf). Click on the picture on Brickshelf so you have the picture with a blank background, like this: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/TX-0081998/banners/banner_i_brick_by_tx-008_1998.jpg

3.Here's my explanation for the HTML banner:

<a href=[GROUP URL]><img src=[URL (for Brickshelf) as the one above (2)] width=500 border=0 alt="[random name or the group's name]" /></a>

I hope this helps! I'm gonna try to figure out how to use a picture from Flickr, because I forgot how to do that.
