Unfortunately, I can't get any images to come up on my screen to verify the stolen images (MOCpages is having all kinds of problems at the moment).

i know all too well about plagiarist - its frustrating but with the site having lots of issues just sit tight and let the mods get their work on the site done and then I am sure they will address your issues with this not so fun topic as soon as they can.

Well from what I am seeing, the only thing that is exactly the same is the very front with the half arches and the 45 degree double slopes. Other than that, I can't see much extreme similarity. They may be the same dimensions, and have similar color schemes, but there are many differences. 60% of a particular piece of artwork must be changed for one to consider it theirs. This is not quite the same in the Lego realm (We use the same pieces and can sometimes come up with the same techniques and styles), but there are quite a bit of differences and you also gave him instructions to build upon. If he did steal them, well I'm sorry to say that I am not convinced. If they were inspired by your stuff, he should have given credit, but it is not a requirement; just good manners.

I'm sorry, but that's not "stealing" a post. What he's done is used your basic designs to make his own creations. Truly stealing a post would require him to use your actual pictures.

While using someone's designs without giving credit is seen as bad form, it's not against any rules. You have to also understand that while there are nearly countless variations of Lego configurations, sooner or later someone is going to make the same thing that someone else has made.

So in closing, sure, his designs are (very) similar to yours, what this is does not constitute stealing.

You know, after I commented on his creation to ask how he had gotten my parts, he deleted it right away, if he hadn't done any bad thing, he would have answered it instead of deleting my comment. But rule is rule, and from what you saw is not enough for you to be convinced, So I guess I and him must have "agreement". Thank you! Pls close this topic
