Having recently created a new account I'm having a problem I did not encounter on my old profile.

Every comment on a MOC or group I have made needs to go throuh moderation first. Even though there is nothing that needs moderating in them! Is this just something that happens to new members over a period of time?

New account needs to be approved.

Approving a new account requires you posting a moc so we can approve it.

In short, as soon as you post a moc, we can approve your account and you won't have to wait for all of your comments to be moderated anymore.

PPS: I moderate new accounts in the morning so if you post this evening by tomorrow late morning you'll be approved.

This is most peculiar, I existed on the 'pages long before I actually posted a MOC. none of my comments were sent into moderation.

This is a newer (couple of months) addition to the system to help combat spammers.
