I just want to know if ur allowed to post a creation with no images (i can't upload) but instead it has text describing what ive done, like a buildlog. I suppose other people could use this thread to ask if theyre allowed to do a certain thing.

Absolutely not. No pictures, no MOC, that's the rule.

If you want to let people know what you're planning, before you have pictures, it is better to mention it in a group discussion.

I don't even know how that would get through moderation if it didn't have any picture at all.

It does happen, there is an entire thread for reporting cases so they can be deleted.

I know you can change the picture after, but wouldn't you need something with LEGO in a picture to pass and make it a page?

The rule is that you should at the very least have one picture on every MOC, the reality is that no filter was built to force you to do this, which is why the admins need to delete cases where people have simply forgotten to add one.

They ust only check when you are new because one of the first things I ever posted was a picture with my name on it but no LEGO pieces were ever used. I was just explaining the origins of my name and when I got the E-mail that usually says your new page has posted, it said denied instead. Perhaps it was that way back in 2010 or it is only for new people. I don't know. That's why I was curious as to how pages with non-Lego stuff was making it onto the pages.

I remember your name from the new accounts moderation que this morning.

Short answer is yes, you need to have images with your post. If there are no images then the post will be deleted. Nothing personal mind you, just good housekeeping for the site. We look forward to seeing what creations you have to share with us and will get your account approved as soon as you upload a post with some pics.

Welcome to mocpages and good luck!

im not new, been on mocpages for 1~2 months. its just last night i tried posting for the first time. it was something without a picture (i had planned on editing it to add a pic, as it doesn't work directly. it didnt work that way either so i just left it to be deleted.) anyway, thx for answering, ill just go back to watching from the sidelines.

And if that's what you'd like to do then by all means, we're happy to have you in that respect.

However, just so you know, when your account is in probationary status, all of your comments will have to be moderated. So that means any comment you leave on a moc, any time you type in a group (like what I had to do here) or anything like that will need to go through moderation.

Once you add a creation then your account can be approved to full member status and you will no longer need to have everything moderated.

However like I said, if you prefer to watch from the sidelines then by all means, enjoy!

~Chris.
