He's someone we're aware of. If anything gets to a level where he needs to be reported, please do so. My advice is simply delete the comments. Trolls feed on spam and if you take their spam away (ie: Ignore them and delete their comments and under NO circumstances engage in conversation with them) then they lose their power and will eventually go away.

Don't feed the trolls!

Good luck
~Chris.

Hi, I didn't want to make another "ad" conversation, but I've been getting this one recently, even in this group http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=&id=/user_images/68318/1349227424m
Sorry to bother you.

I'm afraid I'm not sure what the problem is by way of seeing the screen capture you provided. If it's an issue of what you would consider to be inappropriate content, that's already been covered in numerous discussions (and deemed acceptable by Sean many moons ago).

Does the ad move across the screen, involve sound, or some other feature that interfere's with accessability to your pages?

I'm wondering: I used a fake name on MOC Pages because I do not want to reveal personal info online. Is that "not allowed" on MOC Pages?

It's allowed on MOCpages.

And for future reference, you've asked the same question in two conversations. Try to avoid doing that please, it's annoying.

You mean a pseudonym? Obviously my name isn't Killer Quadrapeds (in real life, anyway), so, yeah, it's perfectly acceptable.

Killer Quadrupeds, surely? Your spelling makes it sound like someone is being seriously assaulted four times, or by four individuals!

To add to the ad portion of this conversation, I have two questions: 1) Has anyone been seeing an ad that, I suppose, is for a smart phone? The ad's contents aren't the problem: its just that it covers the area where a person's most rated creations are on the sidebar. 2) What about ads with blood? I really don't care, but no one has brought it up, so I was wondering. There is an ad for vampires, that could be classified as too bloody or gruesome.

Haven't seen the smart phone ad, but if it's interfering with functionality of a page, then it's something one of us should alert Sean about. Any chance you could do a screen capture if you see it again? You could email it to me at mark@markkelsoart.com.

Meanwhile, I don't think the blood is a problem as long as it's not an insanely, over-the-top, Ed Gein-ish, gore-o-rama.

Erm, that's rather politically incorrect, and disgusting. You have a sick sense of humor! I just spelled it that way on accident, then kept it that way 'case it looked cool.

What 'bout ads with sexual allusions? I've seen one lately, I'll provide a screen capture when I figure out how.

No. Again. If something interferes with the operations of the site (e.g pop-ups), feel free to report it.

Everything else including blood, scantily clad girls and weapons is 'fine', in that MOCpages cannot change the ads you see. In short, the ads are here to pay for the site.

If the adverts offend anyone, those offended should try to ignore them, leave MOCpages, or accept that a cartoon of a girl in a bikini really isn't the worst thing to happen in the world.

I just happened to get lucky, and I snapped a few pictures and sent you a message.

I'm, not referring to pin-ups, those are fine. I'm referring to the "stick your long pointy sword in me" ads. And even while I write this, I see this window advertising a new 'Droid smartphone, moving in front of the text box.

Lol, to think someone actually gets paid to write those!

This has been spammed to heck, any danger of removing the 1000 or so extra comments and views.

Fair enough, and it did make me chuckle when I saw an LDD moc for a change.

I've given up trying to get Sean to tackle all of the spammed pages - I'm assuming there are just too many to keep pace with. He took care of a few early on when we started to see this trend picking up, but since then I've not seen much action.
