Javascript uploader crashed my browser!

My Windows XP OS (Operating System) is the one I always use, but the Javascript uploader affected all Internet Browser capabilities that I currently have. I luckily have another OS installed on my laptop so I can still use MOCpages and Mozilla Firefox. Anyway, the only reason I can think of as to why this happened, that reason is that the Javascript Uploader is an old version. If this is true, than please upload the newest version ASAP.
