You can't embed music.
However, you are able to embed a video with that music in it.

There is NOT a rule banning music from the home page, however there was a period recently where issues with how the links work was causing problems and we were asked NOT to include them, but no action would be taken if we did.

The only guidelines I'm aware of are that the music must be age appropriate.

however, I personally avoid pages with embedded music in them, not because you aren't allowed to have it, but because I find it completely unnecessary.

Personally I find it irritating when people add music or any other gibberish to their homepage e.g. Put this on you page if you love Lego. Well it's quite obvious you love Lego otherwise you wouldn't be on this site lol

Haha, I agree completely. I wish I hadn't asked if it's okay to have music on your homepage. I think it was because I heard a song I like.

No you can't add music. It's annoying and it's a security risk.
