Thread 14 was getting a bit long sooo...
Ok, here's what you report here:
Posts with no pictures
Posts that are only pics of peoples dogs, cats, sisters, house... whatever that's not LEGO. (Pics of things like Lego conventions or "sigfig adventures" and things of that nature ARE allowed.)
Spam mocs with links to other websites.
Some things that ARE allowed that some people think shouldn't be are posts with Clone Bricks (megablox and so on). Although these creations are not made out of LEGO brand bricks, they ARE allowed on this site.
Anything else that shouldn't be here, give us a link and we'll take care of it.

then might I suggest the bionicle fans who are aware of the rules spend a little more time bringing their ilk in line than defending them.

I totally understand your frustrations, some of you are exemplary in your conduct and are good builders too.
But... Unfortunately 9 times out of 10 when we have a drama-y problem on MOCpages it turns out to be a Bionicle or Clone builder, usually proud of being homeschooled and religious and with a load of unnecessary junk on their page.
I know this may be very unfair as some of you that fall into this category are great, but enough of you aren't that it drags your whole genre down.
The fact some of you ARE good builders helps combat this perception a lot, so please keep going, but sadly there aren't enough of you : (
This is just my perception though, it may be wrong! Permalink | June 6, 2012, 7:54 am |

I feel the same way. when I found mocpages in the first place I was drawn to it by people like Yuri and Harvey Cu, but then the massive group of the kiddies led me to not really want to share anything. Now I just sorta stalk stuff. More importantly though, I think that people (andros, that means you) have to understand that no matter how hard you try, there's always gonna be that one corner of a website, just like that "one corner" of youtube we've all been to, and that "one corner" of the internet called 4chan that none of you should EVER go to. (seriously, I will not be held responsible for anyone who gets scarred from that cesspool of the digital domain). It's just sorta how people work; if you make a site public you can't expect every single person to follow the rules. That aside, I pretty much agree with everything that his been said here, and I just felt like adding my 2 cents. Permalink | June 8, 2012, 3:03 am |

I'm not sure what you mean, "sig figs" are minifigs representing an individual similar to (and I hate this term) Self-mocs. Therefore any "sig fig adventure" would include at the very least one picture of a minifig. If it doesn't it should be reported and deleted.
Announcements and previews, not including any LEGO do indeed break the rules and I haven't seen any yet that weren't deleted once the mods were made aware of them.
If you notice anything that has been "left alone" AND there isn't a comment from a mod stating it's ok, then feel free to report it again. This thread can get so active at times the odd case can slip through the cracks.
BUT you MUST include the link, otherwise the mods can't take any action. Permalink | June 14, 2012, 9:02 am |

sorry but this was raised in the bad language thread and the response was to lock that thread. There is a single lego figure there, so it has complied with the basic requirements to be a moc.
just because you may (strongly) disagree with his opinions or method of delivery, I actually don't see what's there as a problem.
it got a lot of views this week because all the comments it received (after being reported for bad language) got it to second place on the most discussed list.

definitely not, they certainly wouldn't set up a spam account to do it either. My guess is that it is some small tour operator trying to get some free advertising.
All I can say is, I hope the mods delete it quickly and please PLEASE don't click the link on their home page, you may find it isn't what it claims to be - in which case you risk accessing viruses or even adult oriented material.
