Quoting NightwindKing 1
Alright so quick question. I realize this may be hard to answer without an example but to do so would give-away the story before I can post it, so, I'd rather not.
I'm ready to post my MOC story...but I want to make sure the format of the pictures is ok.
Basically the first part is just an introduction to the story world. However, there are no photos of legos in it. Just drawings. They are meant to represent cave drawings, so it might be hard to tell they are lego people. But I assure you, that's what they represent.
Are these ok to post? I dont want to post something just to have it removed for 'not including legos' in it.
Also: when I post the story, I will upload the pages as images, with the photo above and the text below, but I will post the WHOLE thing as one big image (text + photo) rather than writing text as 'comments' or description (I hate that format). Is this acceptable?
Mods let me know. If I need to post the intro and chapter 1 together (drawings + photo pages) in order to keep them from being removed, that's ok.
If I understand correctly what you're asking here...
The basic rule is that any page that includes drawings needs to include an equal or larger volume of images of Lego, or Lego-related imagery (Clone brands, New Lego sets, Lego conventions, Legoland shots, etc.). So if the first part of the post is the only section where there are drawings, and the rest is actual Lego images, then you're good.
Also, having the pics be a combo of text and imagery is perfectly fine. This is, in fact the way I do comic-style images - with the text in the picture rather than underneath it.
Hope I explained things well enough. Sounds like a cool post!
