Photo Problem

I have noticed that some photos of mine and some of other peoples photos have this gray area on them that blocks out part of the photo. Why is that happening?

To me, it looks totally normal. It may be something with your computer.

I noticed them on other peoples creations with my old computer, but I got a new one for Christmas so I don't think that's the problem.

This is weird. I'm going to try to do what I can to get a good example.

Hi. I think this may be a broadband issue. Occasionally when mine is slow or flakey, I see images like this. A refresh when it's working properly normally returns them to how they should be. I can't say for definite though - hope you get it sorted.

Refreshing it didn't work, but thanks for the help.

occasionally (and this has happened a lot this week) the images take longer than normal to appear, sometimes that means you get an empty black square, or the frames don't appear all at once. It is definitely a server slow down, possibly combined with lag on my internet provider. The images are ok once the system catches up.

Not for me. I waited on the page for a while, but some of the photos still had the gray stuff.

Well, Grant, I've checked in a few times over the last 24 hours, but I'm not seeing anything unusual on this end. All of your shots seem fine as far as I can tell.

That suggests to me that it's not an issue with the site.

People really need to start posting screenshots of the offending ads.

I would, but so far I haven't seen any of the mentioned ads pop up on my computer. ads are based on web browsing, but I dont understand why it's affecting some people and not others. What kind of sites do you guys go on that I dont go on? (You dont have to answer that question if you don't want to)

Are you REALLY complaining about misplaced posts in the official MOCpages drama group?

He'll need to contact us directly if he would like to address the problem, so we can get additional details.

Getting my pictures back would be nice :) Is there anything I have to do?

Thanks for checking in directly. Wanted to ask if these missing images resulted during the crash experienced earlier in 2011? If so, you can leave a message on the official thread for Sean. He's offered to have someone tackle each person's pages individually.

If they disappeared since then, we'll have to look at other possibilities, but let's start there.

I'm pretty sure they went out in 2011 in the "crash". Thanks for helping :)
