You don't have too delete your account. There is a topic that will help you on removing marquee. It is by Austin Durick and the topic is called, "How to remove marquee from your page!" But the bad thing is you need an android or iPhone WITH internet.

Yeah. That's pretty much a good reason why you should'nt put marquee.

I think he should read in MOCPages what HAPPENS if you put marquee on your page.

I think we really could use a few "sticky" threads in Help. I don't know how difficult it would be for Sean to have the format changed to where we could do that...but, it might cut down of these reoccurring problems.

This is a topic we've been over again and again. The marquees interfere with the functionality of the site in a way that causes these home page problems. Please spread the word...no marquees.

Probably be simpler to just set up a script that automatically wipes pages whenever someone adds a marquee tag. It'd fix the problem AND teach them a lesson.

I like that idea.

Dang it. I wish I had read this before I did it.

People that marquee their home pages also end up having the effect trickle into their Lego Creations page too. It makes it really difficult to see some peoples creations, even when they are under topics. Best advice, don't even touch marquee or that other one that makes things blink.

Actually my Dad found that you can use Mozilla SeaMonkey to access and remove the Marquee tags. He said you can either use the Portable version from Portableapps.com or download and install the full browser from Mozilla.
