Yes, that's it. They should remove it.

The Dragons of Atlantis ad looks a little inapproapriate, but not too much.

Here's the way I look at it. If the advertisement is to "Adult" then the kids your afraid of seeing it wont understand it. If they ask their parents, I'm sure a competent parent will come up will be able to handle it. And if your kid already knows what it means, its too late to keep them from it so it doesn't matter. And if your an overly sensitive adult using the "what about the kiddies" excuse to get rid of it, get over yourself.

sigh, would it hurt you guys to use spell checkers or proper grammar.

ok, to address the first issue. You say the advert on the side bar is AWFUL, why? please explain in terms the mods could actually take action on.

second, it is much easier to make judgements on this stuff with proof, where is the proof? take a screen grab, host it on photobucket or flickr then post a link in your complaint and we can see what the fuss is about.

with no proof and no explanation of the problem, I think you are going to find nothing happens.

Is it just me or have I written all that before somewhere? oh yes it was the OTHER conversation complaining about the SAME AD.

sometimes I can't get on mocpages. Do you know what's the problem???

Same thing for me, but I couldn't access it this morning. When I tried it, it said it couldn't display the webpage, and some advice would be probably playing on a different favorite website of yours.

So, what I did was just play on LDD for a half-hour, and it worked. If you have Belkin, you might need to plug the internet cord out for awhile (half-hour as well) and you could . . . . probably do something that passes the time while you're waiting, such as vid games.

Sorry for being off-topic admins.

Ha! I saw the title and thought 'Offal' as in the internal organs of pigs, quickly followed by 'Why would they be using semi-clothed girls to advertise pig livers?'

Brilliant.

One thing many are forgetting is that Sean has no control over what ads the Ad suppliers use.

They can request ads to be taken down, but in the beginning, they have no control.

Hi, just joined this group...don't know why really...it's more like "MOCpages main chat" then "MOCpages help" :)

Ok, so about these banners, most of them come from Google's network and when they do there's a little arrow that says "AdChoices" when you roll your pointy finger over it. Click it and look for "Ads Preferences Manager", click that and then you can see what google thinks you are interested in and also edit those things. But the main problem here are your PARENTS, there are filters that you can set on your router and all sorts of programs to stop unwanted types of banners. All has been mentioned before...and there are things that you or your parents can do. No quit whining and get to it! Or go build something! ;)

Also: For Real? Why Whould You Want To? It'S One Extra Key Stroke FoR EaCh Word...I bet you use "Caps Lock" and type using only your index fingers ;)

That's The Point....

I suppose it makes sense, considering your duties as MOCpages' least intelligent troll.

Too Many Caps. Ugh that looks dumb.
