I created a group and invited someone. I then checked my activity and it said, I just joined it though I was already a member. Please help.

I clicked "The Active One" on my homepage, and it took me to my brother's homepage.

It could be a side affect that came along with MOCpages system crash many months ago and it might still exist now.

I'm guessing here, but I would assume the system only registers that you are in a new group, and doesn't distinguish between you simply joining one, or being the creator. Doesn't sound like a problem to me, though.. is it causing you difficulties of some kind?

Did you make it approval to join? Thats one possibility and the fact you invited him.

That's likely to be an HTML fault from you.

I created 3 groups, and they each said there was one member more than the actual mmembers. Example: Members (3), I scroll down to the part were it says all members and it says this: Shy Guy, Michael Kringe. No one else, Is this a glitch or do some mods secretly join all new groups, and don't show up as an actual member? The world of MOCpages may never know...

Yes . . . It's possibly the 3rd member that deleted his account.

If people join and leave, the number can get messed up.

no mods do not secretly join groups, that's just paranoid.

there is a known glitch where members who join and then leave, or delete their accounts are still credited in the total number of members.

Big brother is not watching you.

What about one group that was only me and there were two members, and I also know as a fact that no one has left or joined that group.

As a mod I can delete pages. If you're still having trouble, let me know what page you would like removed. Just be a aware that it would be done in the same vein as unwanted posts - meaning you'd get a notification from MOCpages that the deletion was due to something inappropriate (even though the content is fine).
