Ive had this problem before, and I've fixed it, but i can't remember how :P What you can do is rotate them sideways before uploading them, then they will automatically rotate back during the upload, though im not sure if this will solve your problem.

Some other more picture-learned MOCer will be able to help you, but you can try this method out first. Hope it helps.

Thanks for trying, but it didn't help. I tried leaving it sideways and then changing to potrait within the uploader. Still squashed. I even tried uploading sideways, and it was squashed sideways.

I don't think the uploader can handle portrait-oriented photos.

The only layout I know for a fact works is 800x600, and only then because that's what I use for title photos.

Haven't used the uploader for anything else for years.

You might want to try resizing the photo in question.

Really? I've had no problems for either orientation. I do however make sure they're the right resolution and orientation before uploading. I think it just doesn't read the metadata correctly, so if you do it manually, it should be fine.

Just to let everyone know...

The problem being discussed here may actually be a MOCpages glitch that's arisen. Sean's noticed some irregularity in the loading and is looking into it. Stay tuned, folks.

problem affected me yesterday, I stopped trying once I realised there was an issue.

tried again today and it appears to be working again.

anyone who attempted to upload yesterday will find there are still no images because the failure is not in displaying them, but that the uploader incorrectly identified them as not in the correct format - example jpeg.

It was just a small glitch. I can explain this as ''The website was tired and couldn't upload pictures that day''
