i realy want to now

Oliver... I'm getting somewhat annoyed at the new topics for everyone of you problems. I'm not trying to be mean, but can you just make 1 topic like Oliver Kings Questions and post everything there? This group has enough topics as it is. And you may want to clarify your question here a little bit better.

Oliver, if you are talking about the TFOLPC banner that is on my homepage and other people's homepages, I made that myself, and wrote out the HTML code myself.

8 year old ???
at that age I was playing with my lego, didn't have internet, is it just me or where things easier back then,
no worries about a "homepage" and stuff, just plain old building with the brick
...
aside that :P
I didn't realize he is only 8 year old :S

You do if you want to get rid of the messy looking blue border.

can you tell me the name of the website

Oliver; there is no website.

To put a picture on the front page of your group you need to:

1. Take the picture
2. Go to 'edit' on one of your MOCs
3. Upload the picture
4. Right click and 'Cut' the HTML code for the picture you've uploaded. This will be the long line of text at the top of the MOC's editing box.
5. Go to your group and click 'edit'
6. Right click and 'paste' the text
7. Click 'ok' or 'save'

That's it, your picture will now be on the homepage of your group.

It's just that he's been making a lot of topics with A LOT of questions. As someone said before, a simple questions thread would suffice, but it hasnt been executed yet. I can understand why some people find him annoying, but they just have to deal with it for now.

i saw it a long time ago ps i dont mean thaaat i mean the place where you make it

There's no website where you make it, the directions are rather complex, so read carefully.
The steps are as follows:

1. Click the "Add a creation" link on your homepage, and upload the photo you would like to use. DO NOT UPLOAD IT AS A MAIN PHOTO.

2. Select the glob of code that appears in the edit box and copy it.

3. Go back to your homepage and and click the "Edit your homepage" link.

4. In the edit box of your homepage, past the glob of code you copied in step 2.

5. The code should look something like this:
<a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/59664/13205302101"><img src="http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/59664/13205302101_SPLASH.jpg"; border="0" width="500" height="500" alt=""></a>

6. In the part of the code where it says <a href="/image_zoom.php?id=/user_images/59664/13205302101">
Delete the /image_zoom.php?id=user_images/59664/13205302101

7. Open a new tab with you homepage in it. Click the "groups" link below the title of your homepage.

8. Look through the webpage until you find the group you would like to link to. Highlight the link to the group, left-click, and in the little menu that appears, select "Copy like location"

9. Go back to the tab where you have your homepage editor open, and paste after the <a href=" of the code you put there earlier.

10. Now press the "Preview your changes" button at the bottom and press the "Save changes" button on the preview page, and you're done!

I hope this was helpful, if you are confused, or if it doesn't work, please tell me.

Is it just me, or is everything at the end getting cut off?

And seriously guys, stop hating on the yfols. The fact is, the sooner you start the better you are when you're older.

Yeah, it's getting cut off for me too; sometimes it's just the computer. I dunno.

We (well, i think I should say I, because this is my personal opinion)--I am not hating on the yfols in general. As you said, some can become excellent builders in their future, for example LWC guy, who was the only yfol a few years ago to make it into the first round of the MOColympics after the eliminatories.

However, what annoys me is the way Oliver is handling his problems--it consistently seems like he's trying to get as much attention as possible to fix his problems, even though this is a community group--the mods and admins dont have the time in the world to pay attention to one yfol asking for help all the time. New topics and bad grammar are also just more factors into the equation.

As said before, patience. That's what's needed. With patience comes knowledge, and with knowledge, Oliver will be good on his own and peace will be restored to the galaxy.
