I know that comments are only scanned for insulting or vulgar words, before they are let through and posted. Sometimes, when you post a comment, a message might come up saying "your comment will be posted within the next 24 hours" instead of "your comment has been posted," and from what experience I've had, this means that your comment is being moderated, or there may have been an insulting word that was caught in the comment.

As for your other question, you have to wait for someone like a mod. I don't know everything :P

Yes, but some times, in groups Im a mod in, I get comments that need to moderated, and they are just regular comments. No vulgarity, and no insulting or rude comments.

This is something I though might not be safe on MOCpages when you upload a creation it asks for acsess to your computer I dont want to mess anything up on the computer, but I want to upload more that 8 photos is it safe to let mocpages have acsess to your computer? By the way the computer I use to upload creations is a MacBook.

While I'm not going to drag on and on about how the system works and what specific things are flagged, I will say that we have an automated system that picks certain things out and deems if the comment needs to be looked at by one of us (staff) and then moderated or just delete it outright.

If you're asking if MOCpages is a safe and welcoming envrionment for kids then the answer is yes. If there's ever an event such as bullying we want you to tell us about it and we WILL take action.
