Why is MOCPages so slow again?
Is the MOCpages Server over taxed again? No offense guys but maybe there are too many CYOAs choking up the system instead of genuine builds! Please someone let me know!

The only problem with interactive comics is that almost nobody has the stomach to follow through with them.

Secondly, the problem isn't server space, it's bandwidth. There's a bottleneck, and the system can't handle it.

Just tell 50,000 of your friends not to visit mocpages, and it'll be fixed.

I'm not convinced its a traffic issue, as it has been just as slow at 3am EST lately than prime time. And I would guess, from my dealings anyway that 90% of the users are in North America! And I highly doubt I have 50,000 friends trying to access their MOCs simultaneously at 3am! LOL!

Actually Areetsa, it IS a server issue. Sean told me recently that we have plenty of bandwidth.

Another problem is that we actually HAVE more servers to help cover the load BUT we don't have enough power to plug them in without tripping a fuse.

Anyone got an extension cord? Might be time to plug into old lady Hatfield's power lines. She doesn't need those curlers anyway.

Odd. I was of the opinion it was bandwidth.
But then, all I know about servers is that they're expensive and power hogs.
