Help with Uploading

I have been trying to upload one of my creations for the last two days. During the middle of an upload, the picture will flip sideways. I have had trouble with this problem before, but not on a scale as big as this one. If anyone has advice to fix it, let me know.

Okay, now that's a new one on me. And I'm afraid I don't have any immdediate solutions for you since I've not encountered that one before. All I can do is kind of state the obvious, just to make sure you've got your bases covered (although you've probably already done this)...

1) Size the image appropriately (around 600 x 800 pixels)
2) Orientate it (vertically or horizontally)
3) Save as a jpeg (for ease of compatibility)

After that I'm not sure if what's happening is a glitch here within MOCpages, or a compatibility issue of some kind. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable will chime in. Meanwhile, though, I'd like you to let me know if this persists, so we've got a record of it. If it continues, I can contact Sean to see if he might have some ideas. Keep me posted, if you don't mind. Thanks!

ps. Hey, Kyle - what application are you using to edit your pics before loading?

I figured out a way to avoid this problem by editing the picture and flipping it the way I want it while they are on my computer hard drive. It was giving me a real fit on Monday afternoon. I would usually just upload the pictures onto the uploader, and then flip them the way I want them in the uploader. It was flipping the pictures back to the original position I had them in when they were uploaded on my computer, sideways. I have Windows Vista and just rotate the pictures there. I seem to have figured out a way around this problem. Thanks for the advice Mark. It is much appreciated.

This is something I'll have to pass along to Sean to see if he's got any thoughts as to the cause. Meanwhile, have you tried using the "simple uploader" option just below the window for loaded images?

Sean was kind enough to get back to me - It appears to be a problem with your own computer, and not something related to a MOCpages glitch. How did the simple uploader do for you?
