I don't think so, I added a violent creation with PG rating on, but Chris said that he removed it because it didn't need it. Permalink | April 15, 2011, 2:53 pm |

The things that would need a PG rating are basically cursing (not the "H" or "D" word but more severe that you wouldn't be able to hear on "normal" (not cable) TV, nudity, and EXTREME blood and gore.
A little bit of blood... hey, this is America (site's home country) and that's ok (we can have the discussion about how I feel about it another time, but we go by "American standards" mostly).
Hope that helps clear it up. Permalink | April 15, 2011, 4:49 pm |

I'll permalink this post to a lot of people who put PG for the H and D words. Permalink | April 15, 2011, 8:40 pm |

Now, just so everyone's clear on this...
If every third word is one of those then yes... it's gonna need the PG rating. But using them once or twice, no problem. Just wanted to make it perfectly clear. Permalink | April 15, 2011, 10:41 pm |

Yeah, it was the H word once. Permalink | April 16, 2011, 11:31 am |

(Probably not a real smart question)
So we can use just about any word with a PG warning? I've heard a while back that we can't use anything "too strong" even with a PG warning.
PS, sorry to bring back this 4 day old topic... Permalink | April 19, 2011, 10:34 pm |

Why? there is no depiction of a sex act, they both appear to be clothed and there is no bad language.
Seems the only reason to add a PG rating is to placate a few narrow minded histrionic types who see any depiction of sexuality as offensive.
I've seen far worse in a shampoo commercial. Permalink | February 29, 2012, 3:31 am |

I'd say no. I've seen far worse without one.
The figures are clothed, and they only holding each other. Nothing explicit there.
No bad language either. And just because the female figure has large, ahem, attributes, doesn't make it offensive. If that were the case Dolly Parton would never have had a singing career. Permalink | February 29, 2012, 3:33 am |

Well, I mostly brought it up because of the 6th picture.
