iPhone/Pod app?
Its been in my mind a lot recently, do any of you guys think you could make a MOCpages app for the Iphone or Ipod? If so it would be cool and useful while you have no access to a computer.

you can use the Safari app. Somewhat easier on Ipad, however.

I would love to have a MOCpages iPhone app. Idea: have the free version include ads and a paid version without ads. I'd pay for it :)

Hi Sean,

You can easily do it yourself here http://www.createfreeiphoneapps.com/iphone-websites/
I guess you have to make a simplyfied HTML version of the site ( unless it has already been done ).

Jonathan
PS: I may be able to help with the mobile version, since I have already made my own site, and loads of people say it's well built.

This is a great idea. I probably wouldn't get it unless it was free because you can just use the Google app to get here. That's what I do and it works great.

Indeed that would be great! I do everything except upload pictures from my iPod touch, so an app would be very useful. Also, Sean, I really appreciate that even though you are a famous builder and artist, you still remain active on the site, even responding to people like me. I met you once at a convention (you probably don't remember me haha), but you are very reachable and relatable, especially to those in the Lego (c) community. I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone in saying thanks for doing things like this!

What's the benefit of making a iPhone app? I mean, you won't be able to add a MOC right? So why not just use Safari?

Jonathan's link for an ipod app is good, all you have to do is simplify the html and avoid using flash (doesn't appear on Apple products).

If you want to make a specific Mocpages app, you can download an app from the Mac app store if you have a mac (i forget what its called), but it's the developer's tools to create apps that once required developer position, but now it's free.

I'm not sure how much it helps, but if anyone has time on their hands it'll be good to work on. (I dont have any time on my hands right now)
