I tried to put an animated .gif on my page, but I can't get it to work. is there some trick to this, or what?

I'm not familiar with them, but I can say that MOCpages is designed to accomodate only certain formats, and that may not be compatible in its current form.

I should add that the reason MOCpages has these limitations is that Sean prefers to keep the pages as clean as possible from anything other than still images of Lego-related topics, or Youtube links with Lego-related video footage. Is the gif file a Lego subject?

Just my 0.201 dollars: the mocpages uploader only supports .jpg files. Nothing else.

However, if one were to upload their file to an imagehosting site, like, say, bricklink, and embed the image on their page, it'd probably animate. Probably. Never tried myself.
