2036 Summer Olympics
Let the voting began. What are we voting on exactly, the host city of the 2036 Summer Olympics. I nominate Portland, as it has flourished recently under the PCU. The other city would be Austin, as Texas is a good place for a good time. The last place I would nominate would be Bern. The UNS has probably made Bern hugely successful, and would be a superb as host city. Feel free to nominate another city, but remember that the voting is fair, and no military attacks will be ordered on teams. All nations are invited to compete on July 4, 2036.

I'm throwing in my vote for Portland sheerly out of pride. I don't care much for the Olympics anyways. Not until they bring back gladiators (they don't need to kill each other, just win).

Sorry, yours doesn't count. Gladiating will be considered in the list of activites, as well as shots, turtle racing, French taunting, as well as 'ordinary' sports.

Well, I'm going to vote for Rome, because at the time of their empire they took many things from the Greeks, so it is a fitting match.
In my opinion.

I vote that all my enemies congregate in Portland, then I'll sneak in behind their backs and destroy their undefended countries... NEVER MIND THAT.
I vote for Rome or Austin. Ukranians haven't done much for olympics as far as I know, but hey, what's to loose.

Rome has won the host city contest. Now, Rome, you must prepare for all of our arrivals, as we would like somewhere to compete and rest.

PCU will dedicate a fly-over during the Opening Ceremonies to remember the dead and missing of all the wars that have been fought for the PCU as well as all participating countries.

Of course, there will be a missing-man formation.

For the Olympic games, we should do a sort of summer building contest series.

Here's my plan: Every week of the summer, one or two events are selected. Then each country may build a vig or dio for these events. You would have one week to build the vig/dio, and then at the end of the week, the builds are judges, and a gold, silver and bronze winner is selected for each event.

And we could do new events every week of the summer. And with school out, we would have more building time to make the vigs/dios.

We should really do that. I think it would bring a sense of participation to our little "Olympics".

Jeff and I have already discussed something almost congruent with this. However, the main difference is we set the theme on a group of international war games. Regardless, some sort of little competition will occur.

Okay gents, just a few more weeks until the Olympics. The PCU is ready to show the Euros how real fighting is done in those war games.

Has anyone noticed that Cliffe is still in this group?

We let them stay to watch. I could actually you know, errm, give him some land. This group isn't the same without him...
Well, not sure that would actually work.

THE OLYMPICS HAVE BEGUN!

They started a few days late because the PCU diverted all planes carrying the teams to opium dens on Caprica, wait what?
