Alright, so why don’t we introduce ourselves here to the rest of the group.
Tell us a bit about yourself; where you’re from, religious background, what you like about LEGO, stuff like that. Permalink | November 15, 2009, 11:25 am |

Alright, I’ll go ahead and get this avalanche rolling:
I’m originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. I came to know about Christianity shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union, when the Russian government first allowed missionaries into the country. My mom, having knowledge of the English language, got a job at one of the 1st (Protestant) churches in St. Petersburg as a translator, and she brought me along (for lack of a babysitter). After moving to America, we tried several different churches until my family finally settled on a missionary-denomination church. I attended that church for several years before finding a different church (actually a non-denominational branch-ministry) where I felt more “at home”.
As for LEGO, I use it as yet another means of self-expression, whether in play or in art.
Most of my other autobiographical info is available on my homepage. Permalink | November 15, 2009, 11:33 am |

Hey, you guys do realize that no-one is "born Christian", right? I'm not questioning your salvation personally, but I find that a common (and unfortunate) misconception among church-going families (for the past few centuries) is people thinking that "being raised Christian" is enough to guarantee salvation - it's not. God does not sell "family-coverage fire-insurance policies".
Finding God must always be a personal experience for the individual. One cannot just ride into Heaven on their grandma's apron stings. Permalink | December 10, 2009, 10:36 am |

I agree. No one is born christian, the person has to decide wether to belive Jesus died for them, or any other belief. This sortof fits along with the thing about being to young to go to hell, because your either not born yet (Take abortion for an example) or just not smart enough yet to make a decition either to belive in Christ or not. Alright, ill go next. My name is Mark, and i've been going to my church, Calvery Chapel for as long as I can remember. (probably forever) The church started out in a cabin/shed area, and was then moved to a store our pastor rented. After three years the Lord granted us with a Food Lion that we could turn into our church. Now we have almost 200 people in the body! As for me, I help out in the JAM (Jesus And Me) youth group. I use Legos as a hobby, building mostly minifigures and Mech suits. As you can tell from my name, I love Halo and have beat all three games. Permalink | December 13, 2009, 5:28 am |

I do Lego stuff, mostly Sci-Fi themed items. I am artisticly talented with clay and the Trumpet. I am a geek. I like Sci-Fi Fantasy things, but not in one of those creepy ways like dressing up or having a shrine for Mr. Lucas. I am a rebel from a normal person of this day and age, meaning I don't have an iPod, Myspace Facebook Twitter or whatever the next big thing will be, I have a dinky Go-Phone that does almost nothing, I hate all pop, rap or country music and love the rock from the 60s 70s and 80s, and could care less about fitting in like following trends other than those listed above. That description matches me pretty well, too. Except for the fact that I enjoy country music but not 60's, 70's, and 80's rock so much.

Hi, My name is Jake Madau, I'm eleven years old, and I've been raised Christian. I accepted Christ into my life when I was five and I got baptized when I was 10. I go to the Desert Rock Church, But we don't usually go. we're mostly busy over here. My Grandpa does a Bible Study were we watch videos from Curry R. Blake he talks all around Christian stuff, but mostly healing.
As for Legos. I like to build and play. Make stuff to build, and play around with them, make a fun story maybe. etc.
