50-100 piece Transformer? Must be at least 50 but not more than 100 pieces... minifigs count as one piece. Just an idea.

Contest idea! Back in the 80's there was a program on tv called 'Star Fleet'. Featured in it was a robot, called Dai-X, that consisted of 3 spaceships piloted by 3 of the main characters. The 3 spaceships joined together to form 'Dia-X' ie, head, torso and legs. How about a 150 piece challenge to build 3 vehicles that can be joined together to make a robot?!

Fusion - take any two themes or franchises and mix them into one design. For example, transforming TIE fighter.

For that matter, why not Voltron or Power Rangers?

Hi! It wasn't the program but the combination of 3 vehicles into 1 that I thought might be interesting!

dont even know why i thought of this but, Disney contest. build a scene from any disney movie :P

this might be a hard/impossible one, but here goes. build a movie scene as accurately as possible BUT the scene has to be guessed by the judges/commenters. points based on build and accuracy to the actual scene, with bonus points for stumping the crowd/judges. like a brick built version of "What's that Movie?"

car contest? Technic?
I like the idea of a car, or car/vehicle w/technic functions is a good idea, functions such as steering, lift-arm integration, probably not go as far as power functions, not all have those elements.

The best ideas always keep things simple so here goes! We have had X15 piece etc etc challenges so why not go for a colour challenge? Personally a two tone contrast works best for me but thats up for debate! How about unlimited parts but with a 14 day deadline? A theme could be thrashed out between us all!? Any chance of a pressure build anytime soon?

How about a microfigure contest. Something kinda like the minecraft micro mobs. I would love to see what people could make. Maybe even make like an 8x8 diorama contest with them. Minecraft style even, or something similar. It could be something even people with a limited amount of bricks could do. Something like this http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/389089

How about and 100 piece war. The contestants are put into groups and each group is given a random category. No matter the category you have only 100 pieces to do it.

You could even have the number of pieces allowed go up with each round, or say that you have to use the complete number of pieces, no more and no less.
