They ARE really cool, but also really expensive (except the battle packs and planet sets). I doubt I'll get any, except the battle packs. :(

I like 75000. The new phase 2 clones look great and by for more realistic than the last ones! Though I agree with Barrett, that most of them are too expensive. I might only get the planet sets and 75000.

The new phase 2 clones are SWEET and so are the Episode 2 phase 1 clones! I got to get phase 2 rex and those 501st troopers, also that umbaran cannon looks very nice (really expensive but it comes with new Ahsoka so I might get it), but why the 212th trooper is yellow?. They finally made a new versions from CW Ahsoka and Obi-Wan, I think we have been waiting for that like 4 years now. Too bad most of them are so expensive, but I think I'll buy them anyway and since 501st Legion has always been my favorite battalion I just got to get them.

While I do think that the new Phase I and II clones look cool, I kind of don't like how Lego (Star Wars to be specific) just keeps redoing figs. I'm fine without decals on the legs, and with old versions of figs.

The figs look nice, but they've lately been making every insignificant character, while we get almost no plain clones. I might get a planet set this time, depending on how stingy I'm feeling.

I agree, you have no idea how long I've been aggravated at the battle pack clones from last year. They started without details so they should stay without the details.

I agree with you guys, but come one when do we get 501st troopers. I don't think ever again. Since most of the CW sets are from the Umbara ARC there has to be 501st troopers with blue markings because it looks like that every single one trooper from the 501st has blue markings. Just watch one of the Umbara episodes. But I agree I would really like to get plain phase 2 clones.

I agree, that's annoying. A few years ago I bought the old designs of rare LEGO minifigs at ebay, but now they're just redoing everything. Seems like they have no respect for the old designs.

So you would prefer buying figs from ebay with a really high prize? Because I like that they make new versions from the figs.

While I do like the new designs, I kind of think they don't have respect for the old designs. I think they should stop making specific characters like 212th and 501st clones. I know they're cool, but I just like having more regular clones.
Another point- Is it just me or do the actual sets that come in battle packs get smaller and smaller each wave?

I think they may actually be getting bigger by just a few pieces, but they feel smaller because the price has gone up 30%

Yeah, the price does have a lot to with it. Obviously the price to brick ratio is getting worse. I guess they just seem smaller. We'll have to wait for an official piece count to be released.

So what do you guys think about the just-announced Battle of Hoth set? Do we
really need another Hoth set, another snowspeeder re-design? I think it just looks
like a great army builder, at least.

Although it's mostly just other things that have already been done, it actually looks kind of cool.

The battle of Hoth set looks great, of course I like every Hoth set. I also like the Old Republic battle pack, hopefully I'll be able to find some on sale and build a small Sith army.

The minifigs in the battlepack are some of TLG's best yet, but the price is ridiculous.

I definitely agree! They havn't made a droideka in a long time, especially a good one.

I hope they will come out with battle packs that have a jedi in them! They once had a set that just had Darth Maul and his speeder, Qui Gon Jinn, and a little tower the size of a minifigure!

In the battle of hoth set, why are there two Lukes?

If you're talking about the game, then it's probably because it was in there as an extra.

Yeah, but then again it seems that all LEGO pricing is ridiculous now.

I know! Battle packs used to be (if that wasn't enough) $10!

Well yeah, but that one especially stuck out to me because the speeder thing is so small.
