1 No not yet, you don't know the category.

2 is it above the plate? If not then no, if it is 2 or 3 brick high then yes.

You can have in any way you like, as long as it is no bigger than 6x6. so, that's a yes.

Each judge rates your creation out of ten. Then the highest scores move on.

Are you saying since you made me a admin in your contest you should get to be a judge in my next one? If so, You just need to say you'll judge before enough other people already volunteered, and you can be a judge!

So I had a sudden potential idea for this contest. I don't know if I'll have time to pull it off, but if I do, I've got a question: Is it permissible to have a 8x8 black boarder to clean things up a bit? The border would also help stabilize a technique I want to try out.

Go to the section of the group called "LEGO creations" and you should see "Add your own". Click that, then click on the MOC you want to enter in the competition on the next screen.

"Winter"

Build us a peaceful winter scene. Or, if you want a snowball fight, not so peaceful. Or, if you want to go really out there, build a working snowblower in 6x6 format.

How much of an overhang are we allowed?

You can never have more than one build, but, you can stack builds on top of each other, and make a story tower.
