Hello contestants! Here are the standings for Round 1. Round 2 will be launched in several hours. Whether you made it to the next round or not, I'd like to wholeheartedly thank each one of you for participating! Contests don't happen without contestants! As the other judges have said, well done everyone! We had an excellent showing of entries this year. To those advancing, I wish you all the best of luck! To those not advancing, thanks again for playing and I hope to see you all back again next year!

I'd also like to say a special word of thanks to two wonderful people. First, my dad! I've been under the weather lately, so my dad kindly designed and filled in the scores sheet for me. And second, MOCpages' very own Dan Church! My initial tie-breaker judge is currently traveling, making communication difficult (hence the slight delay). Despite last minute notice, Dan generously stepped in and quickly settled the tie. Thanks again both of you!

I believe applause is also in order for the other judges. They worked at record speed. I had all the scores by Tuesday night. Bravo fellows!

Hey guys, as I said before, EVERY entry was really great. If you didn't make it to Round 2, its ok! I didn't make some of the first contests I did either. Just keep at it and most importantly, have fun with whatever you build! :)

Blake would you mind telling me what you gave my build?
i was hoping the judges would comment each on the builds so I could get an idea of what people thought but your opinion would be very nice to hear :)
Thanks,

Ah, my entry wasn't that phenomenal, as the scores proved. But I'm very grateful to be in the second round.

Hey everyone, I can't speak for the other judges, but I'm not going to give out my personal scores/explanations. If I answer one persons request, then I'm obligated to answer anyone who asks. I simply don't have the time for that. As for advice, perhaps study the builds that won. I don't say that to be mean, it just simply stands to reason! Studying the builds that did make the cut will provide you with much more guidance than my (or any of the other judge's) words. When all is said and done, my opinion only equals roughly 1/6 of each total score too. The judges rarely all give identical scores to an entry, thus I don't think any contestant should evaluate themselves based on one person's opinion. All that said, I was still super impressed with everyone's effort and I thank you all for it! Please don't let my words be demeaning to you in anyway. My two cents! Cheers!

Okay, I understand. I'll enjoy watching the rest of the contest from the sidelines, and I'll try again next year. :)
