As with last year we will post comments and results after the final posting date. Sorry Commander, a few weeks to wait yet.

I'm going to need all that time. I revised my entry and will need to re-post all the pictures.

I will be posting my entry tomorrow. Hope the judges will have time to review it. I would have done it sooner, but I have been very busy over the Holidays.

I've been out sick for the past week. I need to scrap up an entry before the deadline.

Just a quick note to say that I've been blown away by the quality and quantity of entries into this year's contest. Please be patient, as it will take David and me a wee while to go through everything and write up our comments and scores. Last year we had trouble separating the top threeand I can see that it will be difficult again this year.

Thank you to eveyone who has posted an entry or contributed to the chat :)

I've had a nasty cold and so I've spent the afternoon in bed looking at everyone's creations and typing away. 4,500 words written and a few more still to go. There's a lot to say about each entry and it's hard to keep things brief. David has started work as well, but he has a family who will want to some of his time too!

Hi everyone. David and I have finished our marking! Sorry for the delay, as many of you may have noticed I've been a touch less active these past two weeks, just a lot on in the real world. But hold your horses, news coming in. Nils O has donated an extra prize! We are now looking at awarding a special prize for best colour combination in the contest. Please stick with us and all will be revealed soon.

O_o I came in last place... Oh well I can do better next year. My entry was built in a matter of minutes while I kept my eye on the clock. Congratulations to Andy L for winning the CSPMC II.

Congratulations Andy! Certainly one of the absolute coolest ideas perfectly executed. A well deserved win.

Yuri was right about the excessive awesomeness.

Fantastic!

Well, life outside the brick kept me out of the contest this year, but it was fun to keep an eye on the progress and watch the whole thing unfold. Davids, you've put on another great contest. Congrats to you, Andy! A well deserved victory.

Hey guys, thanks to all the participants for another wonderful contest. Yet again it's wonderful seeing all the different approaches. Congratulations to Andy and Nick! Job very well done chaps. To David and David, you know your CS too well! You guys have the expert view on this, I find your feedback elaborate and very understandable. It's awesome you guys devote this much time to it. Peace, Pico

I want to say thanks to my fellow judge, David your comments have been just brilliant. I wish I'd had a time this week to compete with you; even then I don't think I'd have got close!

Congrats everyone! Another fun contest this year, with great, innovative and diverse entries from all. It's kind of more challenging and thought-provoking to conceive of something sci-fi that isn't weaponized, isn't it?
Congrats to Andy, you really "lit it up" with your theme. (god I'm a dork) Love the split function!
Pico, it would be inappropriate for you to not have a salt-rimmed margarita today.
Nick, can't go wrong with mining! Great color scheme, by the way.
Me - 7th place! woot! So pleased!
Great art from everyone, and thanks to the hosts for running the show and producing such thoughtful and difficult results.

I love all of the entries this year. I tried to comment on all of them, so I apologize if I missed any. Congratulations to the winner, and to all that participated for a job well done. Being in the upper portion of the lower half is not too bad for my first Classic Space contest, considering I have not built that many Classic Space items in recent years.

Congratulations to the three winners, you really deserve it and you were all in my personal Top 5, too!

Thanks to you, David and David, for this wonderful way to spend some of the Christmas Holidays! I hope you'll be back with this one next year!

I'm just as consistant as you, Nick, once more three places behind you on the fifth place... :-)) With such strong competitors I'm quite pround of this result.

Can't wait for next year... See you all! :-))

OMG!!!! I am absolutely over the moon.
I really wasnít expecting to come in the top 10, let alone win, after seeing such strong entries from everyone. This really is an honour.
Classic Space is something I loved as a kid and to build something for this competition really was a nostalgia trip.
I havenít built a spaceship for at least 2 decades and this really was out of my comfort zone, but I loved it and the challenge was a lot of fun.
Congratulations to Nick and Pico, two of the absolute best builders out there. Both their entries were amazing and I have to say I was a little worried when I saw Nick had used the same yellow tanks on his build.
Probably would have been worried more if I decided that Tequilla would be used to put out space fires (again this logic thing really doesnít work with classic space).
A very big thank you to the two Davids for putting on this contest and generously putting up the prizes.
The time and effort you guys put in is remarkable and it is deeply appreciated. You guys make MOCpages a very fun and friendly place to be.
Thank you Fellas!

Congratulations to the winners! I loved to see that this year we saw more "buyable Lego-set"-title screens. If you browse trough the lego creations this group has, you might think you are brwosing through an actual Lego catalog.

And now, the announcement of the SPECIAL PRIZE, donated by Nils O. David & I have awarded this to the entry that wasn't placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd and had our favourite colour scheme. Stuart Lucas' black and purple combined with that trans luminous yellow canopy and unusual shape really stood out. I think that the title photo would instantly have small children nagging their parents to buy it! Congratulations Stuart!

Congrats to the winner, it was a strong contest this year and some very clever builds.

I think in future I need to take more time in R&D before entering. But the important thing was to take part.

Well done to everyone who produced great entries, especially Andy for being such good value for the win. Maybe next year Nick!
