Yeah, only three people in my class finished the test completely, and only because they guessed on most of it, resulting in a worse grade than mine. It was 250 HARD questions, plus two essay's. Luckily though, the class itself during the school year was easy, so everyone had a 100 before the exam, softening the harsh drop most people got when the test was added to their average...

That literally has nothing to do with anything whatsoever. You think every person in my religion class goes to party's? Nope, not even close. Most of the kids in that class don't even talk, much less do social things. They just study all the time, and I got a better grade than most of them. Having a social life literally had nothing to do with this, because I didn't hang out with anybody for two weeks, ending yesterday, because I have been studying, bro. And no offense, but what do you know about what you are talking about? You are in like 6th grade, dude.

Yeah, I always hated that system. I wanted the heroic Knight for his armor and leg printing. Even though I spent a good thirty minutes feeling the bag, it turned out to be the cyclops (which was worthless to me at the time, though it will be useful in the future).

I did get the Mirkwood army for the figures, but it has Dark Brown 1x2 plates, those cool new arch pieces in brown, (four of them) olive green 1x2 plates, and Dark tan 1x3 tiles. So I thought the pieces were pretty good! And it's way bigger in real life, the pictures make it out to be... Puny.

Tomorrow the gamble begins.

I'm going on Christmas "vacation" and will get back after the Intro deadline. Obviously I can't take my whole collection with me, so I'm bringing select few boxes and what I have of the model, and am counting on Christmas and a couple Bricklink orders that better arrive on time to fill in the gaps and get my creation finished.

And I have to make all that go right in addition to celebrating Christmas, birthdays and just generally being out and about most of the time. Wish me luck, for the Gnomes' sake as much as mine!

May the Force be with me. :P

Nice!

I got a CD of the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade soundtrack and The Goblin King Battle. For a poor-ish guy like me that's big. :P

The Goblin King set is amazing. It has exceeded every expectation by far and is everything I hoped for in regards to pieces! It will certainly ensure my Tourney intro gets submitted on time!

Ugh. For once I left the Lego store feeling quite angry. In addition to not having half the pick-a-brick items I needed, they also did not have Halbert's hair piece, when they clearly DID. That's right, it was on at least three display models around the store, but not in PaB (yet it's in the online PaB) and not in the make-your-own-minifig stand.

They don't sell display models as the sets, they break them down and sell them in varied extra piece bags. So it really wouldn't have been a problem...but no. Even though I was surrounded by SEVERAL of the one hairpiece I needed, they "did not have any in stock".

Sorry, Halhi, looks like Halbert forgot to cut his hair for a month (and dyed it to make it a shade lighter).

That glass thing with the goo inside acts like an hourglass except it isn't. I originally had two of the barbarian girl minifigures but I traded her for the gangster guy whatever he is at a trading post. The brick and hairpiece I pilfered from the floor of two different lego stores.

I was REALLY disappointed though. The park had ABSOLUTELY NO PAB walls!! This was my one chance to do PAB for the first time and there were none! It's a lego park!!! Why?!?!?!?

The brackets effect what categories you get and who you're against. Just like how the MOColympics has four brackets. :)

From what I understand, you won't necessarily get into the bracket you choose. Basically you're put into brackets like in the MO's, then whichever bracket theme is most desired by the people in your bracket will be the bracket theme you get.

I believe the two sizes are a small (for 7.99) and a large (14.99). I have three PaB BOXES to fill, VIP event FTW! :D

I once got a small cup. (I'm planning on getting a large cup probably next time) I was surprised by the amount of pieces I could fit in - 704!

Here's what I got in case you're interested:

2- green 4x4 plate
4- tan 2x4 plate
7- white flowers
12- dark tan 2x2 tile
20- blue 1x8 tile
24- brown 1x2 plate
70- green flower stem
74- tan 2x2 corner plate
494- clear 1x1 slope

Cool loot!

I've gotten a LOT of parts from PaB, must be so tiring to count them. I never even try to count.

I hope to eventually find Masonry bricks, olive slopes, and studless-1x1 rounds.

Only at LEGOLAND stores, LEGO stores have a cup system. Grab the cup you want, and fit as much stuff as you can!

The last time I went to the LS, I got about 2,500 parts, if not more. Might have something to do with the fact I got 8 large cups:3

Cool. I've only ever got like one big cup. I always go with the smaller one.

Plus, my mom gets annoyed if I take like two hours to fill the big one. :P. I stuff my cups VERY well.

I didn't have a problem with it either. It's not officially the new theme song if enough people want to keep the old one. I just made this because a FEW people wanted change.

Yeah, me too. My Dad is always like "I bet you can fit just as many if you just throw them in!" I of course say "I know what I'm doing, I've read up on how to master this." Anyways, I really fell victim to those mason bricks on my last trip...seeing as I've got 2 large PaB cups of them=)

HAha, that's awesome. My mom's Chinese and supposedly Chinese people are efficient and stuff. She shook it down a ton so I got a lot in.

That is true. I've heard so many epic pieces, but most of them are unfit for a theme song.

My store has different parts about every month. But stores mainly all have the same pieces, with a few special pieces that differ from store to store.

Yeah, they refill the tubs whenever they need to. They always have a BUNCH more varieties of parts in the back. So I usually ask what else they have in the back.
