Want building tips or constructive feedback? Get it here!

Here's how it works:
1- Once a link has been posted to a MOC, provide some insight or tell what you like about it. (Don't criticize. This thread is designed for helping each-other improve our building!)
2- After at least two people have shared their thoughts, someone else may post a link. (It must be to one of your creations)

This MOC has a pretty nice style to it--pristine and clean on the inside, with a more basic and military look on the outside. The preparation theme the MOC was constructed fits it well, what with the material crates and guns.

(I hope I'm doing this right.)

I have to agree with Stormjay Rider, this MOC is clean and pristine. It's a very nice scene, it looks like it would be fun to play with.
Good additions would be a roof on the main room and a cool brick-built door in the entryway.
Overall, well done!

I want to hear feedback about the shirt; it's a little iffy.

*Maybe* you could use a lighter piece in the center of the shirt, but that's absolutely the only thing I can critique. The big accomplishment is that your profile picture is impossible to recognize as Lego!

Ah, that makes sense now that I take time to look at it. Thanks!

I don't build large cars, but I can see no flaw in this! The Dodge Viper is a cool car, and so far yours is boss!

Like Object of Legend, I don't build cars, and I don't know much about them. But it looks great so far! Don't rush; that's a mistake I make a lot.

Well, I think the foliage is stellar, actually. The only thing I'd improve is the beach and water. Great build!

I'd add more variation to the foliage, also avoid using the palm leaves.

Greebles/detailing are the only things I can think of. The floor of the lab could have some grill bricks or something. And when the lab explodes, perhaps there could be some tubing/wires/mechanical stuff exposed or sticking out.

Still an awesome moc, of course! :P

Hey, shouldn't this thread be called Feedback and Advice? "Advise" is the action; "advice" is the thing. :P

Haha, great MOC!

The Lab itself is very plain, it would be nice to see more detail there. Something around the door would be a great addition. Also, the bigger the explosion, the better!

Ooops. It's okay though, we are advising aren't we?

We are; but then it'd be something like "Advise and Give Feedback". Not a big issue or anything, I just thought I'd mention it. :P

The piece usage blew my mind. Now on my personal opinion, I would have changed the colors the tiniest bit. That's the only thing I would've done differently. Well done!

So, what do you all think of him?

Well, for starters, red isn't a color of a toa of earth, grey is a better choice.
Piece use and detailing is pretty good, though a bit excessive (actually very excessive detailing...)
Gaps in his upper limbs are a bit distracting.
Face is really good.
Overall shaping is quite nice.

Wow! The parts usage is very good, but that does not look like the original set, except for the setting, so if you wated to make a cool MOC, you did it. If you tried to make it look like the set, I would have made more of a building. Nice MOC.

Hmmm . . . The only thing I'd say is that the foliage is to repetitive and un life-like. The bamboo pieces stacked on top of each other look a little abnormal, so I think maybe being more creative there would've made a difference, but that's just my opinion.
