Quoting Awe's Pie
This is from The Telegraph. If you can figure it out, you're insane.

In his latest book, The Grand Design, an extract of which is published in Eureka magazine in The Times, Hawking said: “Because there is a law such as gravity, the Universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the Universe exists, why we exist.”

Soooo..If nothing is there, how is gravity there? Gravity is something. Sooo....Something(Gravity)was there when there was nothing, yet Gravity is something.

What?????

Stephen Hawkins is a little coo-coo.

Totally true. Stephen Hawking has a brilliant mind, but sometimes I wonder...

in one part, your statement is incorrect. God did not come from nothing; he always was and always will be he has no beginning and no end

It depends on how you define nothing. If you define it as not an object, then yes, God did come from nothing. If you define it as non-being, then no, God did not come from nothing.

In the spirit of the original post, I present the Time-Cube.

If you catch yourself nodding and saying "that explains everything", you're as nuts as the author.

That's what separates Timecube from the great men.
