Hi there, well there has been ALOT of controversy of the book of mormon, Joseph smith being a prophet and that the bible is the ONLY Testament of Jesus christ.

We believe the book of mormon to be ANOTHER testament of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 29

The Priesthood was lost once the last apostle was killed, then from then on was the dark ages. People preached and there mouths were close to the lord but their hearts weren't.
Religions would say: This is the true religion, if you dont join it you will be cursed. And others said that that church was corrupt and it was a huge battle between mouths.

Joseph Smith was trying to decide what church to join, finally he came across a scripture "pray and i will answer thee" (Not exact quote)
He went down into the middle of the forest in New York in the early 1800's only at the age of 14. He prayed father which church should i join, which church is true? Then a very dark feeling came upon him. Pitch blackness, he couldn't believe how powerful the unknown was. He was just about to give up when the darkness disappeared and a light brighter than the sun shone down upon him.
"He called me by name"
Then one pointed to the other and said "This is my beloved son, Hear Him"

Joseph asked which he should join, and got the answer to join none of them, for they were corrupt.
He then had a vision of where the Golden plates where Moroni had hidden them before he was killed. Some years later he went there and found them, god commanded him to translate them, ect. ect. gave them the priesthood by the laying on of hands and it goes on and on.

When he was trying to figure out how to translate them he went to a professor in New York and asked him for help, Joseph said the book was sealed and he was forbidden to read it, and the professor said he cannot read a book of that which is sealed. He said he cannot read it.

Isaiah 29:11 (In the bible)

For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say to him, "Read this, please," he will answer, "I can't; it is sealed." 12 Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, "Read this, please," he will answer, "I don't know how to read."

The Lord says:

to hide their plans from the LORD,

the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Read the Book of Isaiah chapter 29 for yourself, i hoped this helped you guys a little bit, i know Joseph smith restored the true church and i hope you can find yourselves to become converted to it.

2. Joseph Smith worked For god, to restore the true church on this earth, during the dark ages after all the apostles were killed the priesthood and the truth were lost, many had there own ideas about Christianity.
Joseph Smith spoke the words Of god. God had him his servant restore the gospel.

Do you hold this to be true? That is, if Joseph Smith or the Book of Mormon are false, then Mormonism cannot be true?

I will be quite honest, because I think you should know this upfront. I hope you find this in no way offensive, but I am going to attempt to disprove the Book of Mormon. You may ask “Why?” First, because through Christ I love all mankind, including you, and I desire NO ONE to be mislead. Secondly, it’s because I think there are falsehoods in it which contradict Scripture and can be deadly to ones true understanding of Christ and the Church. So if you have no objections, can we carry on this conversation?

I have witnessed miracles with my own eyes. i know there is a god, and that the true church WAS restored on the earth.
