Lilith as Adam's first wife comes from Jewish folklore, largely expanded in the middle ages. She shows up in other creation stories as well.
In the actual Bible, the only reference is in Isaiah 34:14. The word lilit has an unclear translation. Some translations see it as a proper name, some as a demonic creature, others as a more mundane wild best.
