A FINAL WORD BEFORE I LEAVE!
I got tired of this group being WAY to religious so I'm leaving. You can say I'm athiest, white supremacist, or whatever. But to let you know, I am Christian.

I just joined this group today, so I don't know the full story, but it seems to me that if people are accusing you of being an athiest or a white supremacist, perhaps they should examine the plank in their own eye before worrying about the speck in yours. Judgement is reserved for God alone.

How can somebody be "too Christian"? And isn't celebrating and professing our faith the whole point of this group?

Really, how old are you? I guess your "12 year olds believe too much" does not apply to me, since it was just my birthday. But still.

In fact, it is not even that, it is a relationship with god. Also, I do not see how being "to religious (which christianity is not)" is bad. Also, some people joined, and say they never go to church/ aren't christians/ think us christians are "over religious, why did you join? . I won't argue with your religion, but I just want to know that.

I agree. This isn't a religious website, it's a LEGO website. This is just for people who are Christian and proud (Like me...) But I may leave too.

Are you talking about christianity? Because Christianity is more than A. "mumbojumbo" and B. Something more than just 12 year olds believe. I don't get how anything but Christianity makes sense, especially creation (evolution, formed on the head of a diamond). I mean there is always a gap with that, "Where did the ape come from?" "Where did the diamond come from?" but God the creator was always there, never began, never will end.

This group is messed up. I like the concept, but there are to many non-christians (but that does give us a chance to spread the message and good news of christ). I might leave, but I will stay until I have gotten my point across about Christianity and Jesus Christ. First off, Christianity is NOT a religion, it is a relationship with god. Second, I don't believe anything you do can get you to heaven, I believe the only way to get to heaven is accept God as your savior, and ask for forgivness. Third, I don't believe in evolution, creation makes more sense to me. Because, where did the ape come from? It must have been created. Who is the creator? Exactly my point.

OOH! I know this one! God... created... the ape, which lead to us. So we should always accept god and be nice to him/her (?) I get it! Thanks!

Um, wha? I am not supporting evolution! The whole thing on who created the ape, that was just to show that evolution had gaps, not that that is what happened. And what is that supposed to mean "be nice to him/her"? Is that implying god could be a girl? I guess anything is possible. And also be nice? I mean like that won't get ya to heaven! Bah, I hate my job!

He's saying your doing things that seem religious but are just related. Legalism. It's against the Bible. It's doing things out of the Bible that you think will get you to Heaven. Cathliocs believe in it. Not you inparticulaur.

Catholics don't believe in works getting them to heaven. Get your facts straight.

legalistic is bad. But being... yes... I'm gonna saying it... being sort of goofy... is FINE! Since when was it such a crime??? In the end your trying so hard to NOT be religious it becomes legalism. Legalism from your own rulebook... it's even worse.

instead of trying to do God's law so hard by urself is already wrong... but to get mad at people for being a lil "goofy" is just plain wrong. Why? what is wrong with it? I'm not gonna leave a group if people are goofy...

ok, so the earth was formed, and plants, (sense they live off of CO2 they thrived in the early stages. they gave off oxogen to create a balanced atmosphere. then, everything evolved from amino acids, etc.

I wasn't exactly saying or trying to point that out but actually... That's EXACTLY what they believe in. While Christians believe you have to believe in the Gospel (the death and return of Jesus), Cathliocs believe you must do all these other things as well.

No, that's not what they believe. You are very uninformed and I would appreciate you not making statements which are unbased and untrue.

If that's not what they believe, tell me what you think they believe. Btw, I wasn't trying to say they were legalistic. They are just very superstitious in how they have all these added on rituals that don't need to be done (praying to Mary, kneeling at one point in church, etc).

They are not superstitious. The rituals were picked up throughout the years. NOT superstitions.

Sometimes, rituals are superstitions. They believe you MUST do those rituals to get into Heaven, therefore, arn't they superstitions? You could say that not seeing the bride before a wedding is a ritual... Or you could say it's a superstition. See what I mean?

I see what you mean but they do not believe they have to practice those rituals to get into heaven. They have some wacky things, but they still believe that we are saved by grace alone.

This is ridiculous. This is a website for lego, not a website for Christianity. Most here cannot defend the faith properly, heck, probably don't know right doctrine. The Bible clearly says God created man in His image, and that man is to rule over animals, not evolve from them. if you can't believe that how can you believe Christ came to bring salvation?
