It depends on what you mean by "the case for Christ". Are you looking for arguments on the existence of God, on God's creation of the universe, on the necessity of salvation, on the nature of Jesus, on the historicity of the resurrection, on Jesus as the only way, etc etc etc?
Rather than try and raise and address each of these, I figure it's best to point you to several resources. The way you wrote your question immediately suggests the author Lee Strobel, who wrote a series of books, starting with "The Case for Christ" (followed by "The Case for a Creator", "The Case for Faith" and "The Case for the Real Jesus") - these lay out the arguments you may be looking for. He's also got some videos with the same names that look at the same information in a multi-media format.
Of course you can't go wrong with reading anything by C. S. Lewis. Start with "Mere Christianity" and maybe "Miracles". Or look at "The Problem of Pain", as that addresses the strongest argument on the other side.
If you are into podcasts, go on itunes and look for the following: Stand to Reason, Reasonable Faith Podcast, Please Convince Me, and Defenders Podcast. Those are some I really like. There are websites associated with those as well with lots of information.
You might also listen to debates between top Christians and atheists. This site has a ton:

There's also a lot of Catholic-specific audio there, but Protestants shouldn't not go just because of that. I'd specifically start with all of the William Lane Craig debates.
