So, now that CFOL is calming down, I have the time to start making everyone Moderators again.

If you want to be a Moderator, say so here.

Other Mods and Admins, do not promote someone to Moderator unless they ask to be promoted. Do not promote anyone to Admin.

You must ask here to become a Mod. If you don't notice the topic, well, then, you are either too inactive or too busy with other stuff, and shouldn't be a Mod, anyway.

I'm not sure that simply making everyone who asks to be a Moderator become one is the best idea. Shouldn't you be looking for the qualities you want in a Moderator rather than just making people them?

A Moderating position is, in itself, something that represents the community as a whole. They are the ones who are supposed to keep order and do whatever they believe is correct for the betterment of the whole. Now, I ask you, do you think that this will happen if anyone who asks becomes one?

No offense to anyone else here, but personally, I don't.

To be honest, I am taking this shot... I always try to follow the rules and do what is in the best interest of the group. So, make me a moderator, you won't regret it.

Tis was something that was started when CFOL was in it's infancy, and the 10-15 members could be trusted. I didn't want to demote them, because they did their job well, so I just made everyone a Mod, with the original members having an unofficial slightly higher rank.

Besides, I can always demote anyone who misuses their power.

It's also much easier in a group of almost 400 members to promote anyone who's paying attention instead of demoting the existing Moderators. (who number over 100)

You'll say no, so why am I even asking, lol. But may I be an admin? I'm a very responcible person and a very trusted person. I'll gladly reinforce the rules and clear up and lock any topics that arn't ment to be here. I'm a Christian and will not misuse of abuse my power. I won't beg eaither.
