Alright, so here is round three.

It will go from today until 11:59 pm MOCpages time, September 16.

The two top scorers from round two will compete to determine 1st and second place.

The three lowest scoring players from round 2 will compete in a different category to determine who places third.

The category for the top scorers is:

"Seamus Heaney": Seamus was a famed Irish poet who recently passed away. His works are notable for there intricate symbolism, for he made use of many techniques to contribute to meaning. Research one of his poems, and build a MOC inspired from it.

The category for the lowest scorers is:

"French Literature": Francophones have brought us many classic works, such as The Little Prince, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, Les Miserables, and much more. Build a MOC based on a French novel, poem, or other literary work.

Research one of his poems, and build a MOC inspired from it.

Does that mean we have to build a moc that depicts the poem, or we can make something somehow related and inspired by the poem?

Either's fine, I just want it to be clearly visible that you were influenced by one. I dare you to tackle North. ;)

Post it. :P Wait, scratch that. Put as much time into it as you can. :) But don't be late of course.

Yeah, but I asked Josh on one of his mocs if he was still donating, turns out he isn't anymore. D: I have no CMF's so I was really let down.

I saw that and I too felt let down. It was a little unfair for all the contestants for him to start the group and say there's prizes, but then disappear and leave the group to Luke (BTW thanks Luke for taking over). And then say he's not doing the prizes.... :/
At least I still had fun in this group with its categories, builds, judges, and contestants :) It was fun!

Yeah that's really the only reason I bothered to enter... It was good to get a few builds in I suppose.

So.. Is NO one going to donate? I didn't take time out of my life to compete for nothing, although it was fun.

Alright guys, bummer about Josh. I competed in a contest a while back and the prize donator bailed, so I empathize.
However, prizes aren't the be all, end all. I hope this contest was fun to build in, and at least somewhat educational. You all built some nifty things, and I enjoyed judging. (Judging on R3 entries to come sometime soon. Maybe not today, but we'll see.)

That said, I'll see if I can do something. I'm pretty tight on cash and I'm not sure what shipping costs to you guys would be, but I'll do my best to at least front one prize. (Though CMFs aren't out here yet, so it may be a wait.)
No guarantees though.

It's all right. I did learn a few things (about the author's and stuff) and it was a fun contest!

I agree, this was a very fun contest! I actually did not know about the prizes until I saw the prize thread. Can"t wait for the final judging!

All things considered, Luke's right. The prize was what, a few Minifigs? I'd much rather have the experience, friends, and a few more MOCS... and that's what I got. Great job everyone, and thanks to Luke, who stayed with it even to the end.

And, sorry for blowing up a few times. Bad day and all... but no excuses.

Just wanted to say thank you and there's no need to pick up Josh's slack if it's too much of an inconvenience. I think we all really appreciate you taking on this contest so thanks again for continuing it for us :D

That would be amazing but you don't have to do that. When do you think judging will be done for 3?

Congratulations! You won!!!! You got at least two 5's and I got two 4's, which means you would have to get at least a 3 and me a 5 in order for me to tie you. So..... Congrats!!!! Great contests and great MOCs! You deserve the win!
