Another new topic? Yes, I feel an innocent topic is at hand. I have seen a few suggestions of Coke vs Pepsi. Thats great, but many of our International members (hence the name of the group) may not be as familiar with those products. So, down below, list your favorite soda, and how it stacks up against its rival.

I believe it is deep in the piramyd system of Mercator, which is the highest I know in the hierarchy. But I know that Mercator itself is owned by a larger company.
Looks like that was taken over by "M-Rodic", a Serbian company.
I dunno. I haven't tried it. But it sounds interesting; though the size of Coca-cola will keep this product out of the international market. Permalink
Not necessacelery. Often a large multinational will simply buy a company outright if they think a certain product has marketable value. It's a lot easier than reinventing something. Happens with potato chips, too.
Anyway, I like Coke! More of a caramel flavoring than Pepsi. It's still the standard. Permalink

Pepsi Throwback all the way, if you can find it. But even regular Pepsi tastes much better to me than Coca-Cola.
Also, I think Sierra Mist is much better than Sprite.
I agree with the Sierra Mist bit. But, I don't know. Coca-cola is, classic. I can taste the different between Pepsi and Coke, but it just seems that Pepsi took coke and then threw in extra sugar. Permalink

Beer! Bavarian Wheat-beer. All said. 8)
Oh and i like A&Ws Root beer, but its hard to get in germany. Most people here dont like it... :(
Well, I would recommend (and I don't really know this from personal experience) for you to look at shops near US military installations. US soldiers would drink that, and I would think that, to turn a profit, stores around that area would sell root beer. Just a hunch though. Permalink
Dr. Mercola is a completely reliable alternative physician.
Well. I am talking about occasionally. I drink water most of the time (we drink water during every meal) but sometimes, I drink a cola. Anything, with moderation, isn't bad for you (except poison). Permalink

Even poison can be good in moderation. Of course, moderation here means minimal medical doses. Permalink

Hoo, boy I'm not going to make any friends for this...
I've never had a sip of caffeine in my life.
Well done for you! Seriously, well done. Though you probably have had a small amount in some things (it hides in places). I drink as little caffeine as possible. Tea, lemonade, water and the occasional Coke. Permalink

Lemme see here... The occasional bottle of water, milk, smoothies, and orange juice. All I normally drink. Permalink
Mountain Dew Voltage vs. Mountain Dew Whiteout, anyone?
I like both, but Voltage is definitely my favorite of the two. Whiteout just tastes like Mello Yello to me, and I think Mello Yello just tastes like watered down Mountain Dew as I've said before. Permalink
If I want caffeine, I'll have a coffee. If I want a cool, refreshing beverage, I'll have something orange, like Fanta or Tango (again, basically the same thing, Tango is slightly sweeter, while Fanta actually tastes of oranges). Never really liked coke, but I love the coke-flavour sweets in Haribo. Can't figure out why. Permalink
