Where to start? :P

Gumpert Apollo, Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta...
These are the last 2 months when I saw cars, but that's my trip to Cannes included.

BTW I've bin to the Geneva Autoshow, where I could touch (yes, touch) the LaFerrari, or P1, or Veneno. Geneva brings newness to it's show...

But that's not the public road. Er... for the rest Holland is quite dull to spot cars. I think the best I've saw on my daily trip to work an Audi RS5...

Living close to London I'm a bit spoilt for seeing nice cars.

I don't even turn my head for Astons, Bentleys, R8s, Porsches, McLarens, Ferraris etc as I see them every week.

I did stop for a Veyron once though!

What I do take notice of are prototypes; Jag, Land Rover and Mini must run quite large camouflaged fleets when they're developing new cars.

It could be a lot prettier, without loosing aerodynamics.

have you heard Enzo's saying? "Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines" Besides, Lambo's are way more aerodynamic, and prettier :) I personally believe Ferrari hasn't had a pretty car, in at least 30 years.

I don't think the Enzo is pretty, it looks good, but i don't think pretty is the right word. The headlights on the Italia really ruin it for me. i dislike them so much that it ruins the entire car for me... Did you know the FF is almost twice as much money as the Italia???

Seeing as the pics are out already it's a bit weird (and normally I only see British prototypes - Jag, Land Rover, Mini, plus the odd Nissan and BMW from their development centres). I've never seen a camouflaged Merc before.

Cool! I've seen a Camaro ZL1 prototype a long time ago.

I don't understand why people say the 86 and BRZ are the same. Well, they do have the same boxer engine, the same performance, but the BRZ weighs less and costs less. The design on the front on both cars are different too; the BRZ has round-ended lights, and the grille is a different shape. The 86 has pointy lights, and a pointy grille. So, technically, they aren't the same.

A different bumper, headlights and the little grill thingumies on the front wheel-arches are the only differences. Going on this criteria a Ford Fiesta Zetec S is a different car from the Ford Fiesta Zetec, a BMW 520d is a different car from a 520d M-Sport etc.

Nah, not really. About 30 miles from London, so where I live is full of expensive cars anyway (inc. lots of Jags), but if you drive to the Midlands on 2 of the 3 motorways that go past Birmingham you're almost guaranteed to see Jag/LR products testing on the road, often fully camouflaged.

Further down 98, I saw what I think was a '66 Corvette convertible. And then later this afternoon in Pensacola, I saw what was probably a '68 or '69 Chevy Nova. Yeah, it was a good day for car sightings.

Ford Focus ST (X2)
BMW Z4 MkI
Porsche Boxster (X4)
Porsche 911 GT2
2013 Range Rover
Range Rover Evoque (X6) That's right. SIX RR Evoques!
Bentley Continental GT
BMW 6 Series Convertible (X2)
BMW 6 Series Coupé
BMW 3 Series Coupé
BMW 3 Series Convertible
So, that is a lot of cars, especially in Australia. I don't really see these type of cars in South Australia.

Well there's the shaping (most replicas have it a bit off) some of the replicas also have two of the bars, instead of just behind the driver's seat, a lot of the real ones have the chassis number on the number plate (if you can remember) etc. the replica i see has 2 bars behind the seat, and a few other flaws.

don't even get me started over the epa. if you see black diesel smoke, that doesn't mean its really bad. gasoline fumes are way thicker and hotter than diesel. and straight pipes actually lower the egt(exhaust gas temp.) with the elimination of back pressure that mufflers create.

Surprisingly when I went to get dinner, I saw..... a DMC DeLorean! I wanted to take a pic of it, but never got to. And get this, the number plate was "88 MPH".

Now that's a rare sight. I've only seen one, and you cant help but touch its stainless steel bodywork just to see what it feels like! Answer: Like a cooking pan

A DeLorean is literally a one-off car that you'd see. As far as that goes, I rekon it lives around my area. Not saying it's true, but it's possible.

Not quite 'literally one-off' (they made 9000 of them), but I get what you mean!

Today I had two amazing finds while taking a walk downtown, and a few other cool finds!

The first amazing find was at a used car dealership, I couldn't believe it at first, so i had to go and check to see if it was the real deal or not, shockingly it was! It was a Ferrari 250 GTL lusso! :D

The second amazing find was an Aston Martin DB4 that was in the parking on the side of the roads!

Then I also saw a '68 or '69 Chevy Chevelle SS, a few rat rods, and a 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S :-)

I agree, lamborghini rules! But the 360 is up there with them in my opinion! The best sounding Lamborghini in my opinion has to be the Gallardo! You just can't seem to beat a v10! If you ever get the chance, go in a Gallardo Spyder because you never get the same sound experience in the coupe as you do the Spyder!

My latest set of photos on my Flickr stream is from a trip we made to the Tallahassee Automobile Museum recently. The collection includes several '57 Chevys, an 1894 Duryea, a bunch of vintage Corvettes, and even an honest-to-goodness Tucker Torpedo! There's also three Batmobiles. One from the old 60's TV show, one from Batman Returns, and the one from Batman Forever. (that last one is an ugly Batmobile from a terribIe movie) http://goo.gl/BdV2xn

I also acknowledge that these aren't technically "public road" sightings. But I thought I would mention it, just in case.

Are R33s really that rare over there? They're all over the place over here since they're pretty cheap nowadays. Silvia's too, they're everywhere, S13s and S14s are cheap as chips, with S15s not that far behind. I miss my S13... a little. I haven't seen anything overly exciting around my place for a while. Probably the most interesting was a Ford F6 Typhoon. It was fully decked out with carbon fibre bonnet and boot lid, massive spoiler and some really nice rims. All done in good taste, the thing looked like a serious beast on wheels.

They were never available in left-hand drive, so they never sold any here. As far as I know, the only way to get one is to ship it over here yourself and buy the engine separately.

The other day I saw several first and second generation Mustangs, a couple of early 30's Ford and Chevy hot rods, and even an AMC Javelin. They were all headed in the same direction on I-10, so I wonder if there was a car show going on somewhere that I didn't know about.

More classic muscle cars on I-10! Today I saw what was either a '70 or '71 Plymouth Barracuda. It was a purple one with a shaker hood, black stripes down the side with the "HEMI" logo, and fat racing slicks in the back. Yes... PUH-LEAZE.

After that I saw two Chevy Chevelles. One was a silver '70 with black racing stripes. The other was either a '68 or '69 convertible in mint green.

I wasn't able to get a picture, but I saw another 2014 Stingray today in silver. And I definitely like it better in blue.

Saw several old Chevys and Fords from the early 40's driving down I-10 yesterday. And later on I saw my third 2014 Corvette Stingray! http://goo.gl/lW1Xpo

Saw my first AE86 today... it was broken down along side the highway all afternoon. Must've driven past it at least 7 times.

My latest batch of sightings includes a silver '70 Chevelle with black racing stripes, (NOT the same one as before) another 2014 Stingray for sale at Pete Moore Chevy, and a blue '74 Mini Cooper for sale close to my house. I was able to get pictures of those last two. http://goo.gl/lW1Xpo
