War Plan Example
 Group moderator
Since several of our members have been asking for something like this, the following is a theoretical example of what a war plan might look like. (note: sorry I had to choose you Broken Bricks, but you were the closest country to me and therefore the logical country to choose for this example.)

Conglomerate Attack Plan Overview
We have been busy for the last in-game week moving our units into position along the 113/114 border, and are now ready to commence our attack on the U.I.S.

1. We will open our attack with tactical bombing by aircraft to weaken the enemy forces before we actually begin any major ground offensive. This part of the campaign will last for one week before our first offensive begins, although we plan to continue bombing throughout the entirety of the war. Targets will include airfields, power stations, army and naval bases, enemy staging areas, and other targets of opportunity. The following aircraft will be used for this bombing:
28 Wraith Fighter Bombers – medium intensity bombing
14 Ghost stealth bombers – high intensity bombing with 2 kiloton warheads
100 Specter UAVs – light intensity bombing and limited air-to-air combat

For protection of our attacking aircraft, we will be constantly flying 100 of our Phoenix UAV fighters, with the rest held in reserve for protecting our own airspace.

2. After our initial attacks are underway, after one week we will begin our primary offensive. Our forces have been divided primarily into two groups: one in 114 which intends to smash its way North, and the other in 113, which will be attacking 118 in an attempt to divide the U.I.S. in half. To protect from aircraft and missile attack, all armor will be escorted by several Basilisk SP AA systems. We will also be making good use of our close-air support platforms and liberal amounts of artillery fire to clear the way for our soldiers on the ground. Finally, any remaining concentrations of enemy forces are to be hit with attacks from our Ares missile system just before the attacks begin.

3. The task force in 114 will have to cross the rather large river dividing our two countries, so we will be supplying them with large numbers of Expeditionary Fighting Vehicles alongside more conventional armored units. They are to attack northward with the goal of reaching the enemy’s capital.

4. The task force in 113 will be only half the size of the one attacking the capital, and will contain the majority of our lighter vehicles to allow for greater speed of deployment into the U.I.S. We plan on making heavy use of dropships and transport helicopters to allow greater tactical mobility.

5. Our navy will be deployed to hunt down and destroy the much smaller U.I.S. Navy (half of the cruisers and destroyers will be dispatched for this purpose), and we also plan on using roughly 30 of our Silentium class littoral combat ships for naval fire support, but beyond this we don’t currently have any plans to make wider use of our navy.

The following be dedicated to this theater, with 1/3 going to Taskforce 113 and 2/3 going to Taskforce 114 unless otherwise noted:
55,000 infantry
A wide variety of technicals
60 CT-60 Cargo Trucks
50 Warmaster Command vehicles
140 Rapier SP Artillery systems
55 LongSword Heavy Artillery Platforms
200 185 Basilisk SP AA vehicles
50 RAM112-A rocket-artillery systems
60 Ares WMD Missile systems (150 miles inside our own territory)
200 Warmaster IFVs
100 LAVs (exclusive to TF 113)
40 Warmaster light tanks (exclusive to TF 113)
15 Dragon Jump Tanks (exclusive to TF 113)
30 HT-59 Lightning Hover tanks (exclusive to TF 113)
35 Challenger Hover tanks
40 Ogre Mechs (TF 114 exclusive)
100 Daemon MBTs (TF 114 exclusive)
160 Expeditionary Fighting Vehicles (TF 114 exclusive)

(aircraft)
30 Harpy UAVs
40 Corvous UAVs
60 Sparrow UAVs
60 Hydra Gunships
50 GA-15 Basilisk Attack Aircraft
50 TRTH42-B Transport helicopters (exclusive to TF 113)
80 Marauder Dropships (exclusive to TF 113)
As the war develops, we will continue to update our strategies to account for battlefield results.

This will defiantly help me in the future, remember not to use this again if war is to come!

Well, if I ever invade you, this wouldn't be my real plan, but it's a decent example of how to write a strategy.

I don't think you deployed enough forces :)

As in infantry? I'm not sure how I could send more with logistics already being majorly stretched as it is.

Well, if anything I sent too much, leaving only about 15% of my total vehicles to guard my faction, which would make me quite vulnerable to a counter attack from an unexspected angle.
