Welcome everyone, I finally have the group up and running, it took a few days to get the maps together and reestablish the rules, but it was worth it, I hope that D&CII can do everything that failed in our previous groups. I'm happy to see you here.

If everybody wanted, I could maek the game bigger than what it is now. After the map is filled up, the factions become nations and battle for the planet. After the planet was been completely captured and sufficient wars have been fought, we will spread to the stars, to become galactic empires. I could make a space map, making spacebound tech okay, and ground tech still relevent, because that's how you would capture the planets. This one would be a neutral planet, kind of like a space UN. does that sound like a good idea to everybody?

production times and unit scale would be adjusted accordingly to each scale shift.

-----

Also, I have uploaded a list of everyone of the units mentioned in the "Statistics" thread in the link below, scroll towards the bottom.

This is the second announcement for the day so I'll try to keep it shot and sweet.

All construction on the group is done, so you can post your stats, movements and nation in the corresponding threads, and feel free to talk in the General Convo.

Invite all your friends and past members of similar groups so we can get this one rolling, and above all, have fun.

I'll be starting school again on the 7th, so I'll be far less active than I am now, But I'll try to get on at least for a while every day.
I'm out.

Mentioning this again because I'm really trying to get everyone's vote in this.

I'm going to create a voting thread, Where we vote about stuff if we want or need to, the first vote on it being obviously this.

I recently became a big enough faction to be able to capture 3 territories at a time. This made me realize that there was a huge flaw the the expansion rules, with every three territories you have, you can annex one more at a time. This would mean an exponentially fast expansion when Factions reach the size of 9 territories, so I changed the rules around a bit to solve this problem. The new expansion rules are below and can be found in "The World of D&CII" thread.

-----

"When you start in the game, you can pick any three territories to call home, as long as they are next to each-other and someone doesn't already own them. You start out only being able to capture 1 territory at a time. When you capture enough territories, you gain the ability to annex more than one in an update. When you get six territories, you can annex 2 in an update. Wen you have 12 territories you can annex 3, with 24 you can annex 4. 4 is the cap because if we go any larger than that, I fear a few superpowers will overpower smaller countries."

Starting tomorrow there will be an edit to the official rule on ship production. Any ships longer than the current class of that ship, will have a "LONGER" production time. It will be the equivalent of one week for every 50 meters. This should fix up the current issues regarding mega ships.

This 50 meter rule only applies to ships that exceed modern sizes.
A list of the biggest ships sizes per class will be provided.

You may still keep any ships you have, and a stat edit wont be necessary.
Any further violations of this rule will be given a warning, then after 24 hours a stat deletion.
"we will copy your stats for reference"

There has been a large amount of people who say the rules are not perfectly clear on
vehicle production, and weaponry.

So I can make it clear right now.

No Alloys that are fictional, that means only use materials that actually exist, no Superadium, or Magnatiseium. We are not running a fantasy era group.
Expected materials are allowed such as carbon nano tubes.

No magical plasma weapons, or energy shields.
No fantasy weapons like acid gel, or gravity rays. "plasma shielding?"

So basically use weapons that have been made IRL with enhanced power, magnetic weapons like railguns, and "midpower" laser weapons.
Lasers cannot blow up cities, and aircraft carriers.

No godzilla mechs.
The largest size mech can have a size cap of 200 tons.

If people didn't stretch there freedom to build this wouldn't have happened, thank you all for your patience.
