Welcome to a comfy corner of MOC pages we will call, "Classic Bionicle Revamps". This would be the perfect place to add your tributes to old-school Bionicle characters and get nostalgic on our discussion threads. In the name of keeping it "old-school", lets keep Hero Factory revamps somewhere else. I could use a little help moderating so I will be taking suggestions on co moderators, as long as they are well versed in the Bionicle storyline. Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the invite Nate. If ya need mods, I'll be glad to help ;)

Just to check, do the revamps of sets like Roboriders and Slizers also fit the group? :D

Thanks for the invite Nate! Guess it's a good thing I've been thinking about doing some revamps, huh?

I'd assume not, considering it's just a Bionicle group. :P

Can anyone say Lewa revamp?!? I have to say I am extremely well versed in all things BIONICLE, information on everything, the story, the characters, the races, whatever you want. And thanks for that invite by the way.

By the way, the group icon is Bohrok revamp I made with an old Bionicle building buddy of mine, Sage Hill. We will be calling him "Bohrok Sentinel" and posting him soon. We have been recreating like crazy and having a blast. I have some tasty surprises coming, but I have a "one MOC a day" policy that I will try to observe.
By the way, this is a "Friends invite Friends" kind of group, so feel free to invite those you know who love the "old-school".

Ha! Madness indeed! I'm having too much fun doing revamps and thought it would be cool to see what others might do. Great to have you aboard. Now get to work! :{D

I joined to thank you for the invitation. I did not grow up building/playing with Bionciles so I'm really not interested in revamping old production builds. But, one thing I have always wanted to do was revamp the old Star Wars/Technic figures.... like Darth Vader and Bobba Fett! If this idea would be okay, this group might just be my motivator. Else I'll be quite happy to comment and watch everyone else's MAGIC! Have Fun! :)

Thx for the Invite, Nate. I have sad news to relate, M8. Last night, O.G.R.E. got a claw hooked on my wife's shirt as she passed its perch, and it took a New-Year's-Eve header, off into space. It. Is. No. More. As bad as that is, FrostHulke and Dominael also fell (O.G.R.E.'s tail snagged them) =( Sad Panda. I think I can reassemble Dom and Hulke, (given time, and enough double-malt Scotch) but O.G.R.E. is scrap. I will be putting up a 2013 Memorium, but will have very few pics to do so, I fear. Moment of Silence...

I DO, in fact, live ON a Space Station! It is very good to be me, some days. =) (Although admittedly, if this were true, O.G.R.E. would be in FAR better condition than he actually IS, at this time. He's here, of course, but also over THERE. Oh, and there. And a bit of lost greeble under that lamp, I see. And in the dogs' bowl, 'out the kitchen, I now see. Silly Gravity. Silly, low-budget Space Station. Cutbacks, you see. :) -Off to work!

Hey Nate, am I wrong in assuming that you'll be at Brickworld 2013 this summer?

I'm planning on being there for the whole thing. The days before the weekend are where the real fun is. NXT bot fights, Lego boat races, Brickfilm showings, seminars and workshops galore, and no spectators. Are you coming?? Hope so. The spectator days are cool too. The MOCs that show up there are absolutely amazing, although it is usually light in the Bio-MOC department, except for my display :{D I live in Chicago so it isn't too crazy expensive for me to go. What I really hope to do is also go to Brickfair in Washington DC in August. My dad is thinking about doing a road trip for that. There is a lot more Bio-MOCing represented there. Anyone planning on going there? Anyways it would be cool to meet more people at Brickworld. Last year I hung out some with LegoMETAL.

Haha, that's cool. If the two pre-spectator days before the public weekend at Brickfair NE are anything like that, I'm in for a treat. xD
Yes, I'll be attending Brickworld, but only to spectate. Hopefully I can find you; with the Bio-MOC scarcity, it shouldn't be too hard, LOL.
Sadly I can't make it to Brickfair VA this year, though I hope to be able to do that some time in the next few years...

Is anyone going to Brickfair AL? Or Brickmagic NC? I be at those, but only as a spectator. Maybe next year I'll bring MOCs. :)

You know, I think I might totally start a bunch of classic revamps. I've been really weighed down by larger builds (Project Green Book and Bayzon V3 especially), but having built my BCBS entry in a single day, I think doing a bunch of smaller revamps would be good for me. It'll at least help me be a bit more active.

I wasn't dead. I was just on holiday. In China. Where the internet is a mysterious and powerful tool, constantly sought after by adventurers and tourists alike.

Did you run into any funky Lego knockoffs while there? BTW, I too am glad you aren't dead. That would make these conversations...erm...awkward :{P

Oh yeah, knockoffs aplenty, though I still see them here in NZ. Will say they are actually better quality than that of MB.

I've been regarded as acting zombified at certain instances, so it's not the first time I've been told I look dead on my feet :P

I seem to be doing this a lot lately. Revitalizing dying groups. But for the life of me I don't seem to be able to save this one:

So, is this group just for classic revamps or can we add other things as well?

Looks to be classic Bionicle revamps only. Not sure if it extends to Bionicle themed self-MOCs or anything else. The main condition is that there's no Hero Factory revamps, though I'm sure that we can use HF parts for the Bionicle revamps.

Hey guys! I just joined this group, and I LOVE bionicle. Does anyone here like to use the ball joint, socket, and shell/plate hero factory elements, because I do and it makes them more flexible and articulated. I recently got a ton of bionicle sets from my cousin, so you may see maxilos, the piraka, and many more revamps I'll keep you guys posted.

Just made a Radiak. I'll post it once Antroz has sufficient upgrades to justify a repost.
