I need to know when to start the contest, so leave a comment of the date you get back from winter break/vacation, so I can accomodate as many people as is reasonable.

The entry round is likely starting some time in January. There are multiple rounds, just so you know.

Each round gives you 10 days to build, and 4 days for us to judge. I just need to know when to start it.

I kinda figured there were multiple rounds. That, and I already know what SMT is from C, LoF.

Aha. No.
I have six like Chro.
And yeah, we have all those tests to practice for tests as well. And despite being homeschooled, I have to actually go to a building and sit there while tall gangly looking people who haven't seen the light of day for longer than I haven't stare me down until I finish the tests. And then we aren't allowed to leave until the other hundred or so students has finished their tests as well. But hey, when life gives you lemons, you balance a pencil on your nose.

This is a single-elimination tournament with multiple rounds, the number of which depends on how many people participate. The entry round is required to enter the contest, so when it's time to begin, don't forget to do that (although not yet, because the contest hasn't started, and we don't know the entry round category). Whoever makes it through the entry round is then paired up with another competitor. Each matchup receives a category; then they need to build a version of their opponent's self-MOC. But instead of just building it normally, they have to make it fit the category that their pairing was assigned. Once the round ends, one person from each pairing will go on to the next round, and the process repeats- they'll get a new pairing, get a new category, et cetera. The categories tend to get harder as the competition advances. Simply put, the last one standing wins.

Ahem, I don't know where the heck you live, but I'm in the US, and I can tell you now that they will NEVER say 100%, because that implies that you're better than everyone in America. I have friends that get 100%s on the PSAT, and they still get 99th percentile because there's no such thing as 100%.

And yeah, I'm in a magnet school, so pretty much everyone in my classes have genius IQ. It's kinda normal for me, and it's annoying that I'm not the best anymore (by far!)

I haven't taken my psat yet, so please calm down. Look I hhavent been told my iq scores, I was told it was better that I didn't know this way I don't become an egotistical prick. That and I'm only fourteen. Plus genius IQ isn't very rare or uncommon for me either because my most of my mothers family has a high IQ but I have surpassed all of them. Clearly you misunderstood. I know that my IQ is high above average because my results say so. I just haven't been told my exact numerical scores. I really don't want to and don't mean to argue with you, and to sound like a jerk. It varies by what you say. If you outright swear such as something similar to "FUNK!" it's going into the site moderation; if you say something milder such as "idiot" or "stupid" then it goes into group moderation. Wow, way to miss the obvious fact that it's a public school. You can't pay your way into the progam, it's application only, and it's still free. I honestly think that a public education, at least at my school, beats a private school, but then again I have no comparison except for this little fool in my tennis class, whose school teaches 3D graphing to 3rd graders who don't understand it at all XD
