---Vignette Contest Round 1---

Welcome to Round 1 of the Vignette Contest! In round 1, anyone can join and build in any of the following four categories:

1. Fail

2. Evil

3. Success

4. Fear

Your entry must be on a 12x12 or smaller base. Any overhang should be minimal, such as an arm, leg, plant, etc.

All entries must be new MOCs.
You must state in your entry which category you are building for.
Round 1 ends on Saturday, December 1 at 11:59 PM Mocpages time.
Judging will be out of 50 points from each judge (Freeling and I), adding up to a grand total of 100 points. The top four scoring participants in Round 1 will move on to round 2.

YES! Success is so the category that I'm using, so get ready for a guy sneaking around under a bridge and blowing stuff up. or... i could make it a fail... fail it is! keep the other one for future matches! hehehehehe. (I'll edit it so it's new. not going to cheat on this.)

Don't you think we should have more people advance? Or at least base it on how many people enter? ie: 20 entries=6 move on 30 entries=8 move on. or something? cause only four of 50 people is a very small number... and also there may be ties..

Well, less than fifty people are in this group, and even less than that will actually enter. The final round is supposed to be only the best of the best, so it isn't going to be a large round.

Might perhaps maybe could I Suggest possibly three rounds instead of only two?

Well, it's not really supposed to be a long contest, as I'd prefer to try to not lose people's interest - often a problem in the longer ones. I think I'll keep it at two rounds.

can I do a tower of the 4 scenes? it'll be of this 1 guy, and he faces all these things... or is that too much?

That's fine, but keep this in mind: try to keep it to the point of being realistic. If the scenes, for example, are landscapes, then I'd say no, however, if the scenes are of a cave or house, or something of that sort, then yes.

So, then I sign on sometimes to build.
This sounds very interesting. Hard to build something. But doable.

As there is only one entry so far, round two may be a bit smaller than expected.
Four people is still a possibility, but three is more likely...

Vignettes are a small scene, so they usually have some sort of figure...

Ok thanks

Today is the last day!

Since Freeling cannot judge, I will be the only judge for this round. In round 2, I may recruit a second judge.

I was very impressed by some of your entries. Great job everyone!

Keep the entries coming!
