Okay, so we've agreed (or most of us, anyways) to all pay for a small battle pack set for the winner. So, I've gathered a list of the sets on lego.com, that were not yet sold out.. (Tis the season, right? ;>) So, here is the list:

1. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Gandalf-Arrives-9469
2. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Catwoman-Catcycle-City-Chase-6858
3. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Captain-America-s-Avenging-Cycle-6865
4. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Captain-s-Cabin-4191
5. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/The-Mummy-9462
6. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Mining-4x4-4200
7. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Endor-Rebel-Trooper-Imperial-Trooper-Battle-Pack-9489
8. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Elite-Clone-Trooper-Commando-Droid-Battle-Pack-9488

Now, I'll add a sign-up sheet to help pay for the set, I'll sign up first:
~ Contributors ~
1. David.

2. ~Caleb~

3. Jenson Anderson

So, as the more people sign up, the less the people that already have signed up have to pay! (Caleb, if you make me an Admin, I'll invite some people, then you can demote me)

All well... Good choice! Maybe when enough people sign up and it's under a dollar or something she'll let you. :/

Okay, I'll put you on the list anyways, But I think every one should just send the money to Caleb and have him send you the set through Lego.com. :)

We could use Paypal gifts as sending money costs money.

The winner could pick the set when they win...

i'd be willing to pitch in a few bucks, but I don't know how we'd be able to get the money together to pay for it...

Woah whoah whoah, hold on a sec there. I'm not entirely sure my parents would accept me buying a set for someone on the internet, and I really don't like the idea of having people give money to me to buy something to ship to them...

True... Maybe we could email somebody from lego to ship it to them. ;)

Like send them money through paypal? keep in mind that if everyone that is currently in this group contributes, it would only be about 50-60 cents, plus everyone else that joins.
Alright, That's what I was thinking. (We could have them vote just to see what the majority is)

Sorry, I didn't realize that.

I don't have a credit card either, but you can have a paypal without one.

Regardless, you can ask your parents if you can send a gift via paypal to a user who will send something (they could purchase a gift card which they email, thus reducing shipping and other losses to 0).

It seems to me that it would not be that hard for those who can to all send a dollar and then we would easily have enough money and possibly even enough for a slightly bigger gift (or giftcard).

True, if we all gave one buck, (Or, if we wanted, however many more) Than first place could have a smaller non battle pack set, second place a battle pack, and third a little one. (Like swamp raider, or a couple mini-fig packets)

That would be awesome! But it would only work if EVERYONE gave and that might be tough... Unless someone was really nice and gave more than a dollar. I do think that a giftcard would be better though cause shipping costs (which can be up to like $10 depending) would be eliminated.

I'll probably be able to pitch in about $5, but I'm still not sure how we'll get the money together.

I agree, the winner should choose their prize. 1st place, 2nd, and 3rd, all choose prizes according to the price range of their prize.

I wish I could contribute some money David ., but I don't have a paypal or credit card yet, but I like the idea 1st place picks his/her prize 1st, 2nd picks his/her prize, well, 2nd, etc.

We should definately do that!
