Maybe we can put links to the winners homepages on our homepages?

The second would be awesome, the third is pretty pointless.

2nd would be neat, but we wouldn't be able to get it to them, and I don't know who would buy them...

Perhaps we can all (every one in the group) pitch in and then it would only be like, 15- 25 cents per person? We could also have a voting thread for the sets, which one would YOU like to win the most? Like a battle pack set. If twenty people pitch in for a battle pack set, It is $12.99, divided by twenty, is about 65 cents per person. Plus, if more people decide to join, the price just gets lower and lower. Savvy?

I've gathhered a list of most of the battle pack sets that weren't sold out or anything. (Yet) Caleb, would it be alright if I created a vote for your prize thread? I'll include a list of all these sets:
1. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Gandalf-Arrives-9469
2. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Catwoman-Catcycle-City-Chase-6858
3. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Captain-America-s-Avenging-Cycle-6865
4. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Captain-s-Cabin-4191
5. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/The-Mummy-9462
6. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Mining-4x4-4200
7. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Endor-Rebel-Trooper-Imperial-Trooper-Battle-Pack-9489
8. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Elite-Clone-Trooper-Commando-Droid-Battle-Pack-9488
Or we could have this list and the winner decides which one he/she wants when the contest is done. So that way, before any building goes on, before the contest actually STARTS, we all give however many cents you need to make 12.99. (plus shipping/tax) Given however many people sign up, so that we may divide the giving of the money among however many people sign up. (They wouldn't be forced to give money, but if they want a 'real' prize, they will) :D Oh, Thanks for the invite, BTW. :)

Yeh, all the judges should pitch in and buy a LEGO set. I think that the winner in first place should be promoted to Admin, winner in 2nd place should be promoted to Moderator and winner in 3rd place should just get a really nice comment!

Personally being a good builder doesn't qualify you for an admin or mod position. I believe that is something you must earn, without having good builds. Just my thoughts on the matter. (Plus, an overload of admin/mods is also bad for a group, you want to take it lightly, or they could all but delete it)

Those are good ideas, but how would we all pay for the transactions?

Hey I think that it is awesome and everything but the main problem would be shipping in my opinion. There are some (like me) who are not in the US so that might make it hard. Even for those in the US the shipping would be a tiny bit hard. I love the idea though and would pitch in if I could but it is a bit hard to do so from Africa =P

What we could do is have everyone give a gift via paypal.

Yeah, not really sure about that... Maybe our parents can help witht this part, as I'm not sure how several different people would all pay for one thing. However, we could just send the money to you, as you created the contest, and then you just send it to him straight through Lego.com. :)

Why not let it be a set of the winner's choice or a gift card?

In fact, the easiest thing to do would be for everyone to give a paypal gift.

My thoughts exactly, but my parents probably won't allow me to have money sent here, then buy and send a gift to someone who I don't know (outside of MOCpages). If I can, I definitely will pitch in about 5-6 bucks, but I'm not sure I'll be the one who sends it...

I can do it. I have a good record of actually following through with this stuff (I did a number of Mail Trades on Pojo).
