Listen, your ONE chance was in the MOC Olympics First Round; everyone that signed up was allowed to play. This contest was created to try and expand the head to head play, keeping more people involved for a while longer, which is happening; 32 people, that would otherwise be done, get to continue playing. There were more than enough people, but apparently not enough interest. ~H

Unfortunately, even with the alternates, we were short of the 64 players needed for bracket play, so we had to drop down to 32. If you look through the conversation threads, you'll see that this has already been discussed at great length. Sorry, better luck next year.~H

Um, there are 70 people. Can't you like let the alternates have a turn, plus the new one's? All I did was enter one entry and so did some other people. I was pretty fired up for this contest. At least can we (The people who didn't get a chance to play) get at least any sort of competition? Please.

I have a question regarding the sculpture category. I know that the rules says to choose a famous statue to recreate. Does this limit it to human statues? Or can it be anything as long it is a famous sculpture?

I'm in the combine two themes together catagory and I was wondering what exactly classifies as a "theme" so for example would robots and castle work?also do we make a diorama with the mixed themes on it or like a figure or ship or something along the lines of that?

You're really over thinking it if you have to ask what a theme is, but the short answer is yes, robots and castle is a perfect example. As for what/how much you build, that is up to you to decide; if we wanted more specific guidelines, we would have given them. Considering it's a contest, doing as much as you can in the allotted time is always the best way to go.~H

It may also be a smart idea to go back and look at the entries from past MOs and MITs. That should give you a better idea of what the judges are after, and also make sure you don't do something that's been done already.
