The twenty third psalm, verse four. That's a very good verse, and I repeat it when I get scared. It really helps me!

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with them, and they with me. Revelation 3:20

One of my favorite verses.

he breaketh the bow, he snappeth the spear on sunder. I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of Hosts is with us.

To answer your question, this is the verse.

[[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psalms 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Psalms 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalms 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

4:9 Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.
4:10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.
4:11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone?
4:12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Definitely my favorite verse!

Here's a good one:

Psalms chapter 141, Verse 8–10 it says: “But my eyes [look] to you, Lord God. I seek refuge in you; do not let me die. Protect me from the trap they have set for me, and from the snares of evildoers. Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass [safely] by.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

I agree. John 3:16 is definitely powerful, but unless somebody has never heard it before, it has lost all power when not backed up by the following verses.

Revelation 2:10~Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

That's a phenomel verse reminding us to trust in the Lord even through-out tough and difficult times.

I don't know if you guys have a verse that you call your life verse, but here's mine:

in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.
~Titus 2:7-8

I don't remember where it's found, (yeah, pathetic. I know.) but the verse is I am the way the truth the light no one comes to the Father except through me. If anyone knows where this is found, please tell me! I think it's in John...
